So we know we have an NIL issue and that is handicapping us from competing with other universities on incoming freshman or transfers but now the Davis move after the Femi decision makes us beg the question is there more .

Why would a player (although frustrated on limited playing time freshman year) leave a program where playing time is very available, your brother is on the team, the coach had raved about his upside etc. Is he leaving for NIL money ?, not sure what 2pg going to get you plus he and his brother had some things already going. Your brother and mother are living in NJ so can not be home sick.

Is it the coaching staff (outside of Sha since the Mom raved about him last year), is it facilities?, perhaps the idea of losing the next two years was frustrating, not sure but this move is very odd - Would expect him back in the Indi area, possible Butler?

Look at the otehr playes on the roaster and their options or limited options so could our list of potential transfers been more if they had options.
Richmond --- transferred once before
Dawes -- transferred once before
Sanders -- did not play much last year so options prob lower level
Dre Davis - -- transferred once before and family is here
JaQuann Harris - probably wants to transfer but knee injury

IMHO, the bigger issue is generational. See the thread on the wrestler that punched his opponent in the face after losing.

Sha is an old school, work-hard-to-succeed type. How much does that appeal to kids today?

I read an article recently about businesses not wanting to hire Gen Z employees - they don't communicate well, and they are way too sensitive, among other things.

FWIW
