Do u want freshman anymore? Especially the quality we get. The best teams can get freshman who produce 1st and 2nd year. We have to wait till they are juniors. Are we going to pay them all that time till they produce? Why not go after juniors seniors and grad guys who have shown they can produce.

Outside of jenkins who are we paying a nice bag to in order to come back? Im sure this may change in march but i dont see anybody who deserves much.

Theory is you get kids out of prep, perhaps those you wouldn’t have gotten in the past but are now more attainable because better programs or programs with more resources are hitting up the portal more regularly, and then you develop those kids to the point where they will stay as long as you are remotely competitive in the NIL department. That they don’t necessarily have a foot out the door or chase the highest dollar because they like the staff, school, etc and believe long term staying is best for their career, because they all think they are playing somewhere professionally.

It’s not a crazy thought, but that’s where Sha and the staff come in to identify, develop, and retain these kids by making them think the Hall is the best option even if not offering the most $.

May not have a choice. With the question marks surrounding Dual and Harmon, other than Jenkins, nobody can handle the position. How long is Sha gonna make believe that Wusu can play the point? We have no idea how Felton looks in practice but I too would like to see him get some more burn. Unfortunately the cupcake games haven’t gone as planned so his minutes have been severely limited.

You can't score if you don't shoot and we play at a glacial pace. We're averaging under 54 ppg.

Coleman is averaging seven shots per game and only Jenkins, Aligbe and Addae-Wusu have taken more shots total. So it's not like he's not shooting the ball. You're basically asking him to make every shot he takes to get to 15 ppg. Unrealistic, no?

As a team we've averaged 48.7 shots per game in the three games he's played. Overall it's 47.5 in four games.

Agree we need both, even if incoming frosh are long shots. Most have been for several years: look how so many leave for more playing time. If we depend only on the guys in the portal in April we will always be desperate and a second division BE team.
