like I said, I’d prefer him over Fauci (similar to there being many people I’d prefer over Biden) but it is what it is and generally I find the criticisms of Fauci to be FDS.

Fauci is what he is; a career bureaucrat that never really accomplished much. His message changes on the hour.

He isn't saying not to see your family. He is saying there is risk, and we should understand that risk.

I don't disagree he has become polarizing, but maybe there just aren't that many people who would sign up to deal with all of the public scrutiny he deals with. Lets not pretend that anyone else who becomes the public face of a campaign for vaccines will not have the same result of polarization.

But why bring up Christmas if just talking about understanding risk? Do not most people encounter similar risks all the time like at work, school, shopping, church or going to grandmas for Sunday dinner? Society been pretty much been open for a while now.

Most people that are vaccinated are comfortable with risk or unvaccinated and do not care about the risks. And those real worried about risks probably haven’t been and will not be getting together with people.
