The lack of any kind of messaging that instills confidence - like they have any idea what’s going on - a complete inaction is why the public has eroding confidence in our government agencies.

We have a defense system that can take out ballistic missiles miles up in the atmosphere in minutes but can’t disable a drone one or two thousand feet above the surface over two weeks. They then send out the JV to explain it to the public… Murphy doesn’t even show up. Just remember who the president is now. smh

I bet inside the next few days citizens will begin shooting at them, people will take things into their own hands since the administration is clueless. Biden is probably trying to figure out how to paint the narrative since he just gave Iran 10 billion. Probably to finance the drones now over our heads.

We’re not going to just let Iranian drones fly around NJ for weeks without doing anything. No matter your thoughts on Biden, the intelligence community is not going to just sit back and say nothing here of that were the case.

Simplest explanation is we know what they are (likely its us) and there is a reason they’re not telling us.

Trump’s silence on this issue also tends to make me think we know what it is and he has been briefed. He would be blasting the government on truth social if drones were flying around his golf course and no one knew what it was.

Elon has been silent on this as well which is very unusual for him.

I wasn’t aware of this story. Tried to find more information regarding the incident in 2019 but not much available. I’m a bit obsessed but not the only one at this point. Dangerous and unnerving no matter who is in office for sure. You might be right about it being some secret mission, personally don’t believe that to be the case. Starting to think you’re right. I keep thinking back to the spy balloon, and also if it is our military makes you realize they are concerned about a possible attack. Wars in the future will be fought this way, no boots on the ground.

The whole thing is strange and scary for residents. These are not your store bought drones. They could be armed for all we know. If its the government, they need to stop it and come clean. It could be China or Russia or some folks messing with us too. Who knows but the future possibilities are scary.

We can only guess, but my guess would be that the public isn't helped by telling us what is going on and they'd rather us not have a full understanding.

Other countries have their own intelligence agencies. They're not going to rely on what our government is willing to tell them.

because half the country, since covid and all the gun rights stuff, is worried about being owned by the government. everyone (even on this board) cites that as a reason.

dont for one second think half the country would say this is the military preparing to lockdown our society. the people right here in this thread were saying as much. it was all the talk during covid. of course they never admitted that none of it ever happened.
