We have a defense system that can take out ballistic missiles miles up in the atmosphere in minutes but can’t disable a drone one or two thousand feet above the surface over two weeks. I bet inside the next few days citizens will begin shooting at them, people will take things into their own hands since the administration is clueless. Starting to think you’re right. I keep thinking back to the spy balloon, and also if it is our military makes you realize they are concerned about a possible attack. Wars in the future will be fought this way, no boots on the ground.

The whole thing is strange and scary for residents. These are not your store bought drones. They could be armed for all we know. If its the government, they need to stop it and come clean. It could be China or Russia or some folks messing with us too. Who knows but the future possibilities are scary.

because half the country, since covid and all the gun rights stuff, is worried about being owned by the government. everyone (even on this board) cites that as a reason.

dont for one second think half the country would say this is the military preparing to lockdown our society. the people right here in this thread were saying as much. it was all the talk during covid. of course they never admitted that none of it ever happened.

My wife then went to the website to file a claim, filled everything out and of course after a half hour trying could not get it to work. Very reassuring, thinking they may need several million new hires to answer the phone and get a website to work. Maybe we should hired Jeff Bezos to get this group functioning.

If what they are saying is true, they should absolutely throw a ton of resources at it. You have unidentified drones flying over the heads of US Citizens, you have no idea what they are doing or who is sending them...Honestly, I couldnt think of a greater public safety threat at the moment or what our enemies are realizing they could do if we simply sit by and do nothing.

Exactly... If that were the case where they had no idea what was going on and needed the help from residents in NJ - These phone lines would be manned. That should be a another clue that this is mostly hysteria driven and not really a threat.

People in my town kept sharing videos last night of the "drones" on Ring, but they were planes with blinking red and green lights... You think nefarious actors are going to fly around with blinking lights which are required by the FAA? Bluntly, if they were a threat, we wouldn't be aware of them at all.

I couldnt think of a greater public safety threat at the moment or what our enemies are realizing they could do if we simply sit by and do nothing.

The longer this goes on, the idea that we have no idea what is going on is less and less likely.

We are talking about unusual occurrences happening above our homes with no explanation, I think we should be concerned. To say large objects with red and green lights that are hovering are airplanes is insulting. Granted some people are seeing airplanes but there’s no denying drones are flying over our homes. I’m assuming if it’s our government it’s more than likely to end soon. Your point yesterday about Trump not commenting really does tell you something. People generally don’t like being in the dark when it comes to the safety of their family.

This post made me re-think my position but now the following facts have me re-considering again.
Fact# 1, the number of drones continues to grow. We went from only in NJ to now in NJ, NY, DE., MD., CONN., PA.
Fact #2. Images are surfacing of Drones spraying something.
Fact# 3, In order for them to spread we would need to have base stations in USA. They can only go so far without recharging.
Fact# 4, if military wanted to act they would need Presidents approval, same President that had them stand down with a balloon over our heads for weeks as it traveled across the country. Same administration that told us the southern border was secure.
Fact# 5, We have a weak & feeble president who has been known to make bad decision his entire career.
Fact# 6, we had the largest one month crossing of Chinese Nationalists about 8 months ago of 20,000. More in one months time than past 15 years combined to cross our southern border illegally. Why?
Fact #7, Russia, China, Iran, North Korea have all been meeting the last 4 years. Yes they could have been discussing climate change which is the biggest threat to our democracy but somehow I seriously doubt that.
Fact# 8, This one is keeping me awake at night, we are a country where 2 or more cars per household is commonplace. Most of those cars have 1/2 tank of fuel. We are sitting on ticking time bombs.
Fact# 9, If you were planning to invade a country you would want to calmly put your resources into place.

Right now the facts, and lies from the administration that’s lied a lot just don’t add up. Are we going to just sit and watch until it’s too late to react? Remember Biden graduated bottom 1/3 of his class, he was the only guy in Obamas situation room who voted against taking out Bin Laden. Could he be calling the shots and issuing a stand down order. Food for thought on this Saturday morning.

I’m the guy who said to buy Cardano when it was .28net, also the guy who said the big east tournament would be cancelled when Covid broke out. People here said I was crazy. I was looking into rivian but never bought it. Good memory on your part. Military doesn’t mean anything if the President is calling the shots and decides to wait. He is suppose to be that guy, people will set the table for him, even make recommendations but ultimately it’s his call.
Out to dinner last night and drove on Route 80 drones were overhead most of the way. Cars will not all explode at the same time. For reference do you remember the smoke filled days when we could not go outside. Easy to lite fires with gasoline.
