for the record, I would love Herb Sendek here

under the umbrella of ANYONE IS BETTER THAN WILLARD, his track record is good enough that I think he could get it done here. He can recruit, he generally puts his teams in the tourney, I think he would do better in the watered down Big East, and it's time we go for a recognizable name over an up & comer for once.

He was 72-88 in 10 ACC seasons, 68-86 in nine Pac-10/12 seasons.

I've never understood why this guy was (eve for a while) considered one of the good coaches in the game.

Better than Willard, I guess, but...

EDIT: I know I've written here before about the fit being as important sometimes as the record, so there is more to statistics than what appears. Sendek looked much better when he left NCSU, but his time at ASU has been pitiful.

For the record you would love Peaches Sendek here as well.

this is true. Practically any Power 5 or A10 level mid major coach could do better than Willard.

a little off topic but just a follow up note - I was both horrified and honored that you think I can bloviate like my good friend oldie. He was in rare form today, form that quite frankly I am not good enough to attain.
