youd be surprised how often this doesnt happen. i believe it will come out of that case that will be coming out where that NJ man was shot after not knowing why he was detained.
in any case, just about all of the resistance from the protests goes to #1. i guess shu09 will tell me the proper protocol for passive resistance is to have multiple officers beat someone to a pulp.
what about the girl that was pretty brutally pushed down where she could have critically injured her head? at that point she was just standing and not getting involved (she was really never getting involved)
i guess the rule book called for her to be leveled too.
again, im not attacking cops. im more debating against people who think cops are indefensible against abundant and clearly document acts of brutality. i get it, cops face dangers every single day... but those two ladies, especially the white lady werent exactly triggering "danger" for those cops. cops used their power to essentially be bullies. doesnt seem like the most ethical form of deescalation. most european countries would agree.

How am I against African Americans? I'm not judging anyone on their akin color, believe me, there are plenty of low life whites in this country, and there are plenty of good people as well, the same applies for African Americans.
All of you social warriors haven't answered any question about how to improve the black community besides "police are bad", "whites are priviledge". It is a real problem in the black community children being born out of wedlock (it's over 70%) with no family unit or role models, this leads to kids turning to the street which leads to gang violence, criminal recorsds, murder and poor employment prospects. If you cannot recognise that than maybe you did not have a father around, which I truly feel very sorry for you.
Maybe you haven't left the tri-state area but white people live in some filthy and disgusting conditions with no access to good jobs, healthcare, or basic things we take for granted. They also have a terrible addiction to opioid that are ravaging rural communities.
I've asked You and Bobbie a few times how to fix the issues in the black community, but you both just call people racists. The truth is youre both clueless so racist is your go to rebuttal.

I dont believe in a black and white statement that police are bad. If i were in command position during the last few weeks i would have deployed that based on one particular known event there is no need for any of you to become an example of more police brutality in this acute window of time though police brutality at any point is wrong. Just like it is wrong for any no good person to seek out a cop with intent to kill or harm with long lasting injury and i emphathize with any families of cops that have been targeted as revenge acts in the recent weeks. Further, if i were in command knowing that I would have those going out in in the field in riot gear, i would have said unless you see someone looking to draw down reaching for perhaps a gun or they have a weapon pointed with intent to use it there is no reason to have the examples that have been posted in the past weeks be reality. For the current health climate, while I dont oppose non violent protest, it is a sham there has been so much violation of social distancing. It is equally as poor that we have seen vigilantism hurting communities and small businesses who are innocent and silent victims.
I have been outside the tri state area and have witnessed with my eyes and ears disgusting targeted rhetoric in parts of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, Florida and Tennessee and even DC.
I feel one logic point you made is misguided. If a minority grows up in a fatherless or single parent enviroment it will lead to them being a hoodlum, truant and ultimately a gangbanger and street thug but the same can't be the case for a caucasian?
I would say this, if there is community outreach to the younger generation regardless if they are raised by single parent, fatherless, two lesbians, two gay men, they would have structure and a way to exist.

To me the ultimate thing is that the establishment has failed black communities and minorities. I am someone who has gone to Atlantic City periodically the last few years. Atlantic City is on 40 plus years of the establishment not giving a damn about anything more than getting busloads of retirement community slot players to come in once a week. A lot of nice looking casinos have been built, beyond our current climate many of them routinely partially filled but what have the casino owners done for the local community?

I am not insinuating growing up without a father means you will become a hoodlum, but it makes it harder to resist the pull of the street. Without a father leading by example it may be easy for a young kid to see the fancy things and security that lifestyle could bring you, but it's a path nobody should go down.
White America has many problems, but their out of wedlock kids is many many times lower than the black community. As of 1994 it was 64% of black, 18% of white, I know the number for black is over 70% now. White children without a father face the same challenges, but living in a rural area definitely helps as there is no street life compared to a city.
IMO black America needs to have some hard conversations about how to improve their communities. What happened to George Floyd was terrible, and Chauvin should be tried, nobody in handcuffs deserves to have their life snuffed out . I don't believe the answer to this rogue cop is white people are causing all of black America issues, there has to be accountability in life and it starts with the family unit.

i know youre not pro police brutality, but ive observed you try and defend alot of these situations. even now youre still doing it. its not just excessive and unnecessary, thats glorifying it. its multiple instances of disgusting behavior. just call it that. we need police themselves to be more vocal about this behavior, but unfortunately with things like qualified immunity idk how many see things like this video as being wrong. its a tight lipped brotherhood from my knowledge.
My take: there are too many instances of disgusting behavior that are caught on camera during the most heightened time. imagine what its like when its an ordinary day and the cameras are off. there seems to be a correlation between police/power and the types of bullies that do this type of stuff. the job isnt easy. im very thankful we have police, but thats no excuse... thats what you sign up for.

Well it’s not the solution of those specific people but it sounds like when everyone wanted to make their schools safer after school shootings they added cops. Now the response seems to be get rid of cops in schools. Brilliant move. SMH
