golf is rooted as an elitist sport comprised mainly of old white males. i have a buddy as a golf pro whose been in pa, nj, whisteling straits, tallahassee... tells me the numbers he sees are daunting. pretty tone def to vocally *plug your ears* in a thread and gab about how you get to play golf all the time.

The "old white men" golf stereotype is so 1990s. Lots of young people out on the courses these days, including myself.
