Agreed! Lappas & Andrew Catalon have been terrific for a few years now. Lappas is on Mad Dog Russo throughout the college basketball season too. He’s terrific & knows his stuff.
i agree lots of bad words about him in the past. but i like him too.
Lappas is one of the better analysts out there. Doesn't sugarcoat, loves basketball.
Also glad to see Spanarkel doing national games. Another one of my favorites.

Not just the voice. Guy repeats everything. Feels the need to non stop talk and points out the painfully most obvious things

I really like Lappas as a color man even with his squirrely voice and talks too much.
What I can’t stand are those screaming hypemasters like Gus Johnson. John Fanta has been like that too sometimes although he appears to be tamping that down some.

I don't think he is bad I just think he talks a little too much. Nobody can knock him for saying Luis should have been in the game when he was benched. And his opinion on the Arkansas player with foul trouble that he would not put back in until if the lead for down to 2 or 4 points is fine IMHO.
Later millennial here - I love Lappas.
Fanta seems like a really good guy, but gets too much of pass here. (So does Raftery.) Too many yuks and softballs for the color guys. Almost seems, sometimes, as if the p-by-p announcer/professional is awed by the color guy.
