Here's another piece of reality that probably has escaped you: LA is up in flames largely due to the total incompetence of Newsome , Bass and other progressives all of whom were elected by people like you. They are about to get another dose of reality when they try to rebuild.
i didnt say it was my view. i was explaining how you could understand others may think this. which is what the general knock is from a lot of people here (directed at the general left "they") of course nobody could be bad as hitler. but there are a lot of similar qualities compared to every other president. which is still a blip compared to hitler himself.

Personally think its his way of negotiating, not really going to take over the canal but wants discounted or Free fees for our ships. Canada and Greenland are his way to have something to discuss when he brings Russia and Ukraine to the table. He wants to let countries know we are done being taken advantage of. Denmark is smart, they are open to talking with him. Denmark realizes they need our protection and support. Open up a world map, Russia 100% does not want us in their neighborhood. Denmark might play along to get Russia out of Ukraine. Trump tells Putin to lay off or we are cutting a deal with Denmark for Greenland. Tons of oil in the seas between Russia and Greenland which Russia is already taking advantage of. Plus we can setup military bases in Greenland with missiles aimed at Russia. Not to mention he distracts the media from all the people he wants in his cabinet. Trump is smarter than people give him credit for, exactly why lots of people are now being nice to him. This kind of thinking was never part of our current presidents brain. Not a knock on Joe but he's a politician not a business man.

In Denmark's case, they literally have no defense system now as they have lent their armillary to Ukraine and not in a position to increase their arms spending. They (and other European countries NEED the U.S. for military support. Do they really need Greenland? Greenland has potential value to the US for minerals and for defense. If Denmark can't pay us/NATO for military needs, maybe Greenland is on the table?
The U.S./Canadian border is one of the longest in the world and we are susceptible to illegal's/terrorists coming over from the north. That border also needs to be secured.
So what you're saying is the US is looking to take advantage of Denmark. so it's the complete opposite.
