Had the opportunity to see the last of Lewis Black's shows at the Richard Rogers theatre in NYC last night and he didn't disappoint. We are all drawn to different types of humor, and I just find Black hysterical. As can imagine with the election bearing down on us, there was no shortage of political material and he does not play favorites, which I think is refreshing. Social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), healthcare reform, as well as reality TV...."Why do I have to keep up with the Kardashian's?????" were all fair game.

Rest his soul, but as much as I disagreed with Pir8tes on some issues, we did violently agree on Black as a great comedian. Couldn't help but think about him during the performance last night.

worked with him alot when i was w/the Opie & Anthony show 10 yrs ago. Super super nice guy, and more friendly than you'd think based on his on-stage character. dude kills every night, everywhere he goes. sad to hear him sell out a bit for those NY Lottery commercials, but not a bug deal at all. he is a big name and gets paid five figures every night, but he should be even bigger than he is.
