It's nice that they're finally using their existing power to enforce rules and protect consumers, but it's frustrating that they let it get to the point of it being a national news story, and then had to be shamed and badgered to do anything about it.

But it really shouldn't have! You're right that dysfunction in the airline industry existed long before the Biden administration, but like the adminstrations before them, they would have been perfectly fine with the status quo if it hadn't been for the public pressure to do something about it. I do give them credit for actually being receptive to it.

There’s about 10 threads with 0 replies on the first page alone. Have you turned a blind eye on those topics? Of course not. It’s just a topic you don’t care about. Don’t be butt hurt because you got 0 replies on a non controversial topic that isn’t top 100.

Every administration has done good things on topics that aren’t top of the list items. Even since you bumped this thread up, the responses you’ve gotten are from someone who tends to be left and is unimpressed because the administration spent the first 36 months ignoring this like the previous 3 or 4 administrations did.

I’m thrill with this news, hands down best thing the administration has done. This issue has caused me tons of aggravation.
