And don't forget the one very soft foul call we got they waived off a basket. We missed the 2nd free throw. So that too would have been the game. The obvious walk on the inbounds play should have been called. If we inbound the ball we win. The Dawes call was awful. They let them play all game Ashworth is holding Dawes for three dribbles and then Dawes pushes off and Driscoll makes the call? Schierman and Alexander pushed off all game and no calls? We got screwed.
That foul if it even was a foul wasn’t called all game and of course we score with just a few secs left. And don't forget the one very soft foul call we got they waived off a basket. We missed the 2nd free throw. So that too would have been the game.
They shouldn’t have had a shot in OT. The out of bounds travel should have been a turnover. Game over.If you want to be objective the refs were horrible both ways. Kalkbrenner could've won it in regulation at the line where neither Davis or Bediako got the ball. If you want to be a homer, yes the refs screwed us royally.
It was absolutely a travel. I don't understand the review rule. Some things get reviewed and others don't. That kid walked. Unless the bench called a time out, it was missed.Refs missed a lot of calls against us, so we were fortunate in that way. However, could have been a travel called on the inbounder and there was absolutely no foul on the steal under our basket that would have given us the lead.
But Richmond had a chance to get those two points anyway, and we didn't.
Um that happened with about 12 seconds to go in regulation while the Davis/Bediako whiff on the ball and got all arm happened with about 40 seconds to go in regulation. So it's not like travel out of bounds happened before it. That play had already happened. You can play the game out in 100 scenarios Kalk makes both, misses 1, misses both but the fact is both teams can fairly complain about the officials. As I said if you don't want to be objective yes, they screwed us.They shouldn’t have had a shot in OT. The out of bounds travel should have been a turnover. Game over.
That is not the rule. Feet can move. The inbounder has a lane that he must stay in. Moving the feet is not a violation as long as he stays in that lane.It was absolutely a travel. All that being said their PG made play after play down the stretch.
I don't think that is correct. Unless it is a made basket you are planted with your feet. You cannot shuffle. That is not the rule. Feet can move. The inbounder has a lane that he must stay in. Moving the feet is not a violation as long as he stays in that lane.
I was surprised to read he is correct.I don't think that is correct. Unless it is a made basket you are planted with your feet. You cannot shuffle.
I was asking about replay rule.
They got away with blatant fouls all game. The drive prior by Richmond should have been an and 1. We’re the home team and certainly didn’t get a home whistle.Um that happened with about 12 seconds to go in regulation while the Davis/Bediako whiff on the ball and got all arm happened with about 40 seconds to go in regulation. McDermott wasn't going wild on the sideline for no reason. HIs gripes were just as legit as Sha's. If anything I loved the whistle today. They let these guys body up and play through contact. I don't want to get into a low physical contact game with Creighton. That's playing into Creighton's hands. They got away with blatant fouls all game. Except of course when they called a foul in our favor on Richmond dump off.McDermott wasn't going wild on the sideline for no reason. HIs gripes were just as legit as Sha's. The biggest bad calls were the OB travel and the soft foul on the inbound along the baseline. I thought for sure that was a 5 second call. The one time you wanted to let them play through, Richmond gets breathed on and they put him on the line for 1&1.McDermott wasn't going wild on the sideline for no reason. Turns out you can't travel out of bounds. It's an actual rule. I didn't know it til hallball I believe posted it. Google it. You have an area to throw from. When guys run the baseline when they're not allowed to, they get out of the area, which creates the turnover. Nothing about having to keep a pivot foot. The biggest bad calls were the OB travel and the soft foul on the inbound along the baseline. I thought for sure that was a 5 second call. Surprising to meTurns out you can't travel out of bounds. It's an actual rule. I didn't know it til hallball I believe posted it. Google it. You have an area to throw from. Wrong - can only move one foot- he moved two. That is not the rule. Feet can move. The inbounder has a lane that he must stay in. Moving the feet is not a violation as long as he stays in that lane.
This is the correct post here. You CAN indeed move one foot, but it's an otherwise stationary throw-in. Otherwise, it is indeed a turnover if the player moves both feet.Wrong - can only move one foot- he moved two.
Terrible call but missed free throws. If only Rumeal missed at least 1. if Rumeal missed 2 it would've been the greatest call ever. It's all about what you do next.
LMAO that was literally 7 seconds. UnbelievableI thought this was the most egregious. Should’ve been a turnover and likely game ender.
Yeah it’s pretty bad. Stuff in play you’re going to get things both ways but like run the clock properly in a crucial game defining moment. That the players can’t impact.LMAO that was literally 7 seconds. Unbelievable
