We still control our own destiny - which is a great spot to be in on 2/27, but this thread is not silly by any means.
We are a bubble team that is (most likely) about to go on a two-game losing streak. Also, beating Villanova isn't exactly our bread and butter. It's possible we lose our next three games. Even if we beat Villanova and Depaul I think we have a good chance of going to the play-in game.

Because we suck at covering the 3 point line and Georgetown is a bomb squad.
They shot something like 60 threes against us in two games
Because everyteam shoots season highs from 3point land against us because we haven’t figured out how to defend the 3 after 20+ games

We have the number 1 rated overall defense in Big East play and allow 32.5% from 3 in league play (4th best in league). Our 3 point defense is better than people say.
Agree. Teams chuck 30+ 3s and make 10. That’s 33% or less but it’s a lot of points.
