so you're saying you hit your kids with a belt? Are you offended? Is he wrong?
I'm not condoning hitting anyone with a belt, I was never hit with a belt although I will say the fear of the belt was good deterrent in my my life. Maybe you were a better kid than I was, you probably were, but the fear of a timeout, wouldn't have set me on the right path one bit. I'll bet these pills are linked to deaths (suicides) a lot more than any belts were. So I'll return the question to you, you're ok with giving your kids pills that could lead to suicide?so you're saying you hit your kids with a belt?
Calling a blonde woman Barbie (who isn’t dressed up for Halloween or Margot Robbie) is sick
This is 1000%Amazing how many people are for popping pills that treat the symptoms but never address the core issues.
1) parental abuse has led to more suicides than adderall absolutely yesI'm not condoning hitting anyone with a belt, I was never hit with a belt although I will say the fear of the belt was good deterrent in my my life. 1) Amazing how you group all parental abuse, but only take 1 pill. I'll stick with the stance that adderall has killed more than any belt has. Or if you want to make it all inclusive, pills have killed more than parental abuse, but stop with this all parent abuse vs 1 pill comparison.1) parental abuse has led to more suicides than adderall absolutely yes
2) prescription medicine should only be used as advised and under doctor supervision so it can be stopped at the first sign of adverse reaction. are they overprescribed? yeah sure probably. beating up your kids is not the answer to that as much as you'd like it to be

2) Where did I say beating up your kids is the answer. You're good at putting words into peoples mouths. Pills should be used under a doctor supervision, but even under supervision, they still have the risk. Adderall has these risks. restleness, difficulty sleeping, headaches, dizziness, visual changes, alteration in sexual performance, constipation, diarrhea, nausae, vomiting, hallucinations, paranoia exacerbation of existing mental illness, excessive body temperature, heart attack, stroke, damage to nerve cells, seizures, psychosis, and abnoral heart rhythms. Sign your kid up for those risks.
You can't discuss the topic so you make up the most bizarre comparison you could come up with. I could do the same thing and it just turns into I know you are but what am I."my 10 year old might get erectile dysfunction, i better beat him to within an inch of his life" -- SHUHoopsFan
yeah i agree i would never beat my child. apparently you think it's good? sickYou can't discuss the topic so you make up the most bizarre comparison you could come up with. I could do the same thing and it just turns into I know you are but what am I.
"I'd rather my 10 year old die of a heart attack than threaten him with a belt" - Itsacurse
You agree you'd rather your kid have a heart attack than threaten him?yeah i agree i would never beat my child. apparently you think it's good? sick
the risk of my kid getting a heart attack from ADHD medicine is effectively zero, way less than say, getting in a bus accident on the way to school, or slipping on ice and hitting his head. This is what everyone on earth calls "acceptable risk" i.e. getting out of bed in the morning creates the risk of dying. But again your answer to this is apparently terrorizing children and whipping them with your belt every day of their lives. That gets a no from me.You agree you'd rather your kid have a heart attack than threaten him?
