Watching Uconn-Gonzaga is very entertaining.Night and day skill wise versus RU-SHU.
Skilled players, man. Look at Bailey and Harper at Rutgers. It's a totally different level compared to what we run out.

Shaheen has to realize you need a sufficient amount of players on your roster who can shoot and be efficient on offense. Sure, get dudes who have the tenacity. Defense can ultimately be coached. Show me one National Championship team that didn;t have 3 to 4 players on the court at one time who were all either 3pt shooting threats and/or could be counted on to make FTs and be efficient. If you’re going to rely on the Portal, bring in players who statistically bring those traits to the table.
The entire Monteverde starting 5 are crushing as freshmen. Flagg, McNeely, Newell, Queen, and Bob Wright.
McNeely is a player - one of the best newcomers in NCAA hoops. He can ball on so many different levels. Plays like a four year guy. (Although the head band is a tad irritating) He'll be the leader of the Conn team by the end of the season (sorry Alex Karaban). Thank goodness he is definitely a one and done. We'll only have three plus more months of him abusing the Big East and the Hall.
