Amarveer Singh has been a valuable asset to the NCAA. But the NCAA’s pay-for-play rules prohibited him from earning any compensation or benefits for his athletic services, aside from the limited (and fixed) categories of compensation that Defendants allow (primarily an athletic scholarship)

Halldan liked him; thought he would win starting spot over Desi. If I recall, made a 3 against Witchita St. The Timmy B, Desi bobalu game.
 
When I saw his name in the post's title, I thought he was coming back to use [by today's standards] his four-plus years of eligibility.
 
Worst prediction ever...
In the practice that I saw Veer was the best player on the court. He hit nearly every 3 he took and Whitehead was looking for him most every time down the court.

Then in the preseason exhibition Veer was 6-7 from the arc missing one where he took a bomb to beat the shot clock. He deserved to start early and did.

But once the lights went on he froze and offered very little in the next year and a half before quitting.
