What happened at The Rock with student section?

Exactly- students right next to the court was a competitive advantage. WHO comes up with these ideas to change what works??

It's economics. They have been gradually adding more and more floor seating in front of Section 13 and 14. The dance team kept getting pushed further back until they had to be moved. It is what it is. Not sure where else for them to go??

there is now a big walkway between those floor seats and the student section. Maybe I’m not remembering correctly but I think the student section was moved back about 15’-20’.

Walkway was always there. Always. The only thing I saw different from every other year is they moved the dance team behind the courtside seat on the end opposite the benches and they added 1 row in front of the students by the opposing benches.

Shocked at how many comments this is getting. They added like 4 seats in front of the students next to the sports writers and they decided to give the $5-10k per seat annual donation spots that were blocked by the sapphires an unobscured view.
