Willard’s PR Challenges Continue

Here is my question…

Is the fallout from all this negative attention he got on how he handled his transition to Nova going to the essentially blackball his ability to recruit?

Or when all is said and done, is the money Nova can offer going to land him the players he wants?

So far he wasn’t able to get his top Maryland players to follow him and the comment made by Eton Thomas had nothing to do with money and all about his character.

Thomas looks like a nightmare Dad. Kid is not BE talent perhaps. And I’m not a Willard fan.

why? There’s very few reasons to walk into HS gyms anymore. All of our top targets played college ball last year and we’re not getting or losing players because of HS connections.

We only have to look across the Hudson River to see that most players aren't terribly concerned by character issues so long as they are obscured by a mountain of cash. Willard is very well funded and if he works hard enough at recruiting -- and there were times when his bosses at Seton Hall had to give him the crop -- he'll be fine.

by the end of year 4 Sha needs that signing of a couple big time players like we had with whitehead and Delgado if the upcoming season is similar to this past season. We need some form of life put into the program. Very likely we will look like DePaul with 2000 people in the arena without it.

its not tough. coaches go to schools that have the most money (for players) . were one of the worst

He doesn’t even want to give away cash, that’s purpose is to be given out, away..you think he would’ve given away jobs?
