Women's Game on FS1

Just watched the women's game vs Xavier and they beat Xavier by 25 at Walsh. I don't watch their games, just follow from afar, but it was entertaining. And the camera views at Walsh allow you to see much more of the floor which is interesting.

One player, Catalon(sp?) had 17 points and 11 Steals! That's correct, 11 steals. Has to be a school record. The team had 23 total steals!

The little freshmen PG Eads is fast and can score. Hopefully they keep her. Masonious is a versatile player and a leader on the floor. And Tony B. sounded very intelligent and coherent in the huddle.

They're 17-6 now and 3rd in BE at 8-3. Do they have a chance to get a bid?

Their wbb equivalent for NET will be an uphill climb. Had a bad OOC and 3 schools better than them in the league. Best chance would be to make the final of conference tournament and hope it was enough

Funny. I also watched some of the girls game. I saw most of the first half. And I agree it was entertaining and they have a pretty good team.

I know nothing about them really, but it was refreshing to see a Seton Hall team be clearly better than their opponent

Unfortuately, nearly none other than winning the BET. ESPN's Friday bracket update had us below the last four out. We seem to be moving back and forth between the 74 and 80 spots on their list.

The Women have had a very nice season to date but didn't beat anybody of note out of conference and were beaten badly by the two high-quality opponents they played.

Their NET is 68, which is fifth-best in the BE. The BE is not a particularly strong conference for WBB despite the presence of UConn. The bottom half of the league is mid-major like so beating teams like Xavier isn't much help.

That was a lot more fun to watch than the men. They are definitely well coached and love playing together. I hope they keep winning and sneak into the tournament!!

The Women's team have had a nice bounce back year. They are fun to watch. If you think the Men's team can frustrate you, the Ladies can top that at times. They do some crazy stuff. Lol. The Flo Sports App is a good way to watch them & all the Seton Hall Sports Programs . This next game against Marquette at Walsh is a Must Game. They at least want to finish 3rd in the conference and achieve a 20-win season.

TheHall87 spelled it out correctly about the ratings. There is a minimal chance if they win every game besides the UConn home game, beat Creighton at The BE Tournament and get to the Finals they could get a bid. Never say never, but unlikely they get selected. So, winning The BigEast Tournament looks like the only way in. WNIT??

The Hall has to get to that 40-60 NET level to be a Tournament Team in the future. Right now, they are in that 65-75 range. They have been much closer this season. Good job by the players and coaching staff.
