My cat already fell asleep

Mine was sleeping. Until I finally lost it and yelled at the TV. Then she freaked and ran upstairs.

Worse part was K.C. getting a third foul. At least we are still in the game..have to come out strong and not let them start hitting the three again.

Let's see if they get it together on O. Just goes to show how important a true dribble and dish point guard is when you play a good defensive team like Wichita St. No flow to the O.

We start to get smoked and the excuses start coming out. Wichita State isn't a Sweet 16 team. They are good, but we are just bad. As usual. Poor ball movement, Defense that is lackadaisical as fudge.

They are on track for an 80 point game (higher than their norm)
We might break 50 (because our Offense is just ugly to watch)

People just let the cupcake games fool them. We've played 6 200+ teams. It's easy to look good on that kind of schedule. Every time we play a half-way decent team we can't hang. Another long season.

I don't think anyone on this thread is making excuses. WS is an exceptionally coached team and I wouldn't be surprised if they made the sweet 16. Us? ...

they were without a top 5 ncaa point guard for a 3-game holiday tournament and lost all 3 games and he got hurt in their first loss, tulsa, then they lost grady during the holiday tournament

Well, we've got a coach in his sixth year with a McD AA sophomore guard, a top 50 PF, and at least two other top 150 kids not counting Singh. That's talent as far as I'm concerned. I'm not satisfied with just saying our coach is bad. If that's something everyone is just willing to accept than why doesn't the school do something about it? Every time we play a tough team we seem to drop by ten points in the first five minutes and spend the rest of the game trying to come back.

Im not saying you're wrong, and I am not saying its an excuse for him because its his (Willard) fault. However, saying we have a McD AA means very little. IW is good college guard but VERY overrated
