Butler played as well as a Team could--just going to have to bring the Hard hats
Honestly, as hot as the team started, they're lucky to be down only ten. Butler got everything they wanted, especially underneath, and are shooting lights out. Unlike Marquette, they are not afraid to go to the hole against our bigs and are converting. They are making it look easy.
The Shavar Reynolds appreciation post is going to look pretty sparse after that half of basketball.

All that being said, we are still going to win this game. Butler played great and we were awful and the game is still somewhat close.

Ughh turnover there is killer. Cut it to 6 but now down 10.
we gave up 40 pts and couldnt muster any offense for a long time... Need to break the butler d down with the dribble. Our putrid and plenty shots from 3 are crap. Try and draw fouls guys

Just like Marquette went to sleep on Saturday, or is it maybe the other team deserves some credit for being pretty good?
We’re actually getting plenty of good, clean looks. They’re just not falling. If things revert to form, we’ll be back in it. Defense looks good enough.

Anyway at the half all of the players are scoring about where they usually do. The difference is Tucker with 12 and Cale with zero. Butler 5-10 from three and Hall 5-17 from three. It’s that’s simple. Hall missed great looks too and it’s everyone missing.

Sometimes we have to give credit to the other team. They are playing great. Maybe The Hall could have gone inside, but other than that it’s the missed shots. We don’t looked rattled like the Rutger’s game.
Indeed. Butler’s good abd is playing well, but we have had our opportunities. That and we have to get stops at the other end

I mean usually the Coaches know more than the AP etc... on paper Butler has a Baldwin who is like Arcidiacono that never graduates, then you have Larry Tucker Bird, the Korean who reminds me of the guy from George Washington who smoked us, and this Golden guy, and Doug McDermotts unknown son

Key point in the game, Seton Hall was playing very well on both sides of the ball and leading 17-8 and Willard took 4 starters out killing all momentum in 1 min. You need to keep the pedal to the metal and putting players on the bench hurts them physically.
