Ohio St. Vs Seton Hall Gamethread

They shot the lights out from three we didn't ! Bring on the consolation game!!

Ohio State was 47% from the field - 50% from 3 - 88% from the line....sometimes shots drop. We are a better team and this was great prep for March. We will still be ranked next week....it was a walk off buzzer beater.

All about expectations. High after the Michigan game, but most of us would have gladly taken it if you had told us before season we’d win 1-1 against UM and OSU (especially if we knew it’d be UM game on road).

Tough loss. Ohio St is a solid team. We allowed the so-called “190”-total percentage of 2s, 3s and FTs combined. Add 4 assistants total - even with only 6 TOs- and bad three point shooting and that’s what can happen against a solid opponent. Hope Cale is OK.

When you play a schedule like this you will lose games. Ask Kentucky Michigan Ohio state Nova. Would you rather more NEC and MAAC games? If we end up 3-2 against the N/c majors we play is that so bad?
We got beat by a 28 foot fadeaway 3.

Oh well. We did a lot of things better than them, they just couldn't miss from 3 tonight. Pretty much the opposite of the Michigan game.
I thought osu was better shooting. On o and on d. We toughed it out and couldn't get over the hump.

One team shoots 50 % from 3, the other 22% and its tied with seconds to go.

We love to talk of shu toughness. That's what we just watched.

You've gotta be doing something right to be tied under 5 seconds left with a team having a 11-22 from 3 night. Odds are they won't shoot that well from 3 again all year (they were 8-21, still solid, in the loss to Xavier).
