NJ’s big time college FB team

Big issue is can the Coach manage them. Or will they be kids with pocketful of $$ looking to the next stage.
That's being a Seton Hall fan and reliving 2000-2001 all over again. But since then we've seen a lot of teams get really good seeds and/or make good runs in March with freshmen going to the next level. Yeah there's the occassional year it blows up in a teams face but overall I'd bet that's not even happening 2 times out of 10 when a program gets 2 McDAA's. I think the bigger question will be their physical strength. In the world of transfers everywhere you can have a team of 18 year olds going up against a team of 23-24 year olds.

Who cares about football, I'm worried about their basketball team. Most of their guys did the tunnel 2 towers 5K run a couple weeks ago in NYC. To be honest they're a bunch of very nice young men talking and greeting a lot of random people. They're young, but they're big. Going to be a good test for us for sure.

Policies

wondering the thoughts on people who have actually looked at the policies of each candidate. Both are deficient in this category but it does seem Harris at least gives us more meat on the bone with her 83 page policy deep dive

compared to trump aka "stop doing all the bad things and do all the good things" accordion web page that has very official language like "best economy in history" and "drain the swamp"

Is perhaps not quite the juggernaut that Politi predicted. And keep in mind no bigger booster for rehiring Schiano than Politi who advocated “give him whatever he wants” to Hobbs.

Schiano was given a big contract and whatever he wanted at ru. The hire was a big mistake but nobody else really wanted the job . His resume is average at best . Failure in the NFL, at ru one big win against Louisville his first time around and some second rate bowl games. Now they are stuck with him. Eating his big state contract should not happen.RU Rah, Rah !! Hahahaha !!!!!!!!!!

Pirates remain unbeaten at home, Secure second BIG EAST win

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J.
– Goals from Rikard Cederberg and Jon Vignir Pétursson led No. 11 Seton Hall men's soccer to a 2-1 victory over Butler for the Pirates ninth win of the season.

The Pirates dominated the first half by outshooting the Bulldogs 8-1, but only one of the shots found the back of the net. The only Pirates goal from the first half came from Jon Vignir Pétursson planting the rebound from a penalty kick save in the goal from point blank range. The Pirates continued to dominate on the offensive end in the second half, outshooting the Bulldogs 6-2, and earned another goal off a strong Rikard Cederburg run. The Bulldogs pulled a goal back in the final 15 minutes, but the Pirates quashed any hope of an equalizer, securing a 2-1 victory.

With the win, The Hall moves to 9-2-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in-conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half was a decidedly offensive affair in favor of the Pirates. In the 28th minute, the Pirates launched three shots from inside the box, two of which rattled off the crossbar. However, undeterred, the Pirates continued to push the ball into Bulldog territory.

Jon Vignir Pétursson stepped to the spot and scored off Butler goalkeeper Caleb Norris' penalty save, earning his third goal of the season. Entering halftime, the Pirates held a 8-1 advantage over the Bulldogs in shots.

The Hall continued pressuring the Bulldog's defensive stance, registering their first shot of the half after one minute. In the 66th minute, another Pirate offensive allowed Rikard Cederburg to finish a shot to the far post, extending the Pirates' lead to 2-0.

In the 78th minutes, the Bulldogs responded to the Seton Hall's goal with a goal off the foot of Josemir Gomez, cutting the score to a 2-1 Pirates lead.
The two teams exchanged red cards in the 83rd minute after a harsh slide tackle by Butler lead to a scuffle, forcing both teams to play with ten men until the game's completion.

Butler had an opportunity at the death to tie the game, but Soren Jensen ripped the ball out of the air and secured the 2-1 victory for the Pirates.
