Giants Absolutely Blowing It!

Not sure of your source Dan. Most sites have Cleveland third and Giants fourth. Doesn’t matter though it’s not #1 anymore.
It's from ESPN and it was posted with a couple of games left.

Fascinating tidbit with Carter passing

Interesting quirk of history given Carter's passing and the upcoming transition. The oldest living former president is now Trump, for another 22 days. Then it becomes Biden. But Trump will not be the oldest sitting president unless he makes it to August 15, 2028. Biden will leave office at the age of 82 years and 2 months.

Trump (June 14), Bush (July 6), and Clinton (August 19) were all born within weeks of each other in 1946. Pretty wild that Clinton has been out of office for nearly a quarter century, Bush for 16 years, and Trump is going to soon be the sitting president.
That is very fascinating. Thanks for sharing.

Not a good week

For the second time in two weeks, the President-Elect has been playing catchup with the dynamic Elon Musk. Musk is a big supporter of the H-1B visa, going so far as to say on X (formerly Twitter), “Take a big step back and eff YOURSELF in the face. I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend.” Musk seemed pretty committed to the visas.

Many MAGA supporters want tighter immigration laws, which would include reducing or eliminating the H-1B program. After several days, someone roused the President-Elect who then called the New York Post in support of Musk and the H1-B program. “I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas….I have many H-1B visas on my properties.” Trump seems pretty committed to the visas.

Like many Trump related statements, that’s not entirely true. In 2016 he ran on a platform that would “forever end the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program.” Musk has also backtracked a little saying “I’ve been clear that the program is broken and needs major reform and I’m confident that the changes made in the @realDonaldTrump administration will make America much stronger.”. The important thing is Trump and Musk have finally gotten on the same page. They both seem to like that.
