Thank you for posting, Mike’s response was spot on. Each are entitled to their own opinion on NIL. Mine is that I prefer my beloved University to step out of this madness, maybe to D3, rather than continue this charade. Looks like the Ivy League is thus far enforcing amateurism, but they have like-minded schools and are willing to accept the competitive imbalance. It would be great if the Big East did something similar, but I doubt it.

Just doesn't make sense to think that Adams was targeted.

That’s not a defense of Biden, just a flaw in the logic.

Very different time. We were better off before the internet in that sense for sure. Growing up on the internet in the social media era is much harder than what it was like growing up for me. Likely a major part of why suicide rates started increasing as we were getting more technologically dependent.

The amount of money these guys will profit from this move to bitcoin will dwarf any amount made by their companies. This creates nothing. You are not seeing that this type of wealth in the hands of a few people will alter everything. Do you agree there's a difference between getting hit and getting beat? If not I don't know what to say. Tons of stories of seeing friends getting hit with a wooden spoon, nobody was ever beat with one. MAJOR DIFFERENCE.

Disagree very much.
The US government buying as a reserve would further legitimize Bitcoin as a store of value which will bring in other states and countries doing the same which would reduce the risk that an individual could own enough to pump and dump. This is also kind of a self fulfilling prophecy. If the government starts buying, the value is going to increase very rapidly and Trump will look like a genius. Yes, the uber wealthy own and are buying bitcoin. The good news is that we can participate in that as well.

The meme coin stuff does annoy me, but there are going to be valid applications for having a public distributed ledger, and I do expect Bitcoin to last as the digital property / store of value.
