Fwiw, “the audit committee investigated” does not mean an audit was performed. It means that the group charged with oversight looked into the matter and did not find an issue that concerned them.

That’s not uncommon when looking into a specific claim, though may or may not have been thorough enough when self policing and wanting to avoid bad press.

What could they have done?
The FBI can’t just show up and arrest the kid. Georgia does not have red flag laws which would have allowed the removal of guns out of the home.
Georgia is also lenient on parents who are negligent and they are only liable if they knew a crime would be committed with the guns.

Yes, it is a mental health issue but there is also more we can do with the law to mitigate risks.

Only one simple change needed. No change to right to owning a gun. Just hold the parents accountable. Watch what happens when parents get 20 years behind bars for their kids taking their guns to school. They’ll make sure their kids don’t get their hands on them. And if their kid has mental health issues they’ll be extra cautious.

This should be a doubleheader. There's no reason for this game to be played at Nassau or UBS otherwise.

Given there is an outside promoter involved as noted elsewhere in this thread, you had to believe this was destined to be part of at least a two-game event.

Outside of the hs hoops event that would come every year they had a echl team with devs affiliation for about 15 years. Also believed it hosted womens ncaa twice. I guess music performance remain going there but not great big ones.

I think shu played rider there 1 time.

To Shore Guy's point, the Trenton arena has four events scheduled between now and January.

There's a Jiu Jitsu tournament on Saturday, a basketball doubleheader featuring Princeton and Temple in November, a flea market in December and a Monster Truck event in January.

It's tough to run a venue on one event a month.

a bullet from his own party member. trump incites everyone and is the hands down unanimous king of fanning flames. its all he does. full stop. to deny or argue this just shows your true colors as a person. its pathetic to even have to argue this point. the guy is literally hosting a Jan 6 event at his club. crazy pills.

I do think that the school should at least explore the possibility of a public-private partnership with Essex County for a renovation of South Mountain Arena or building a 5000-10000 seat arena somewhere else, ala what RU is doing with Middlesex County for baseball. I can't think of another county that has been as active in building parks and attractions than Essex County, it's not a totally unrealistic scenario to think they might want to build their own small arena like Trenton has.

Why can’t Rutgers build up the baseball facility on campus? Weird to be playing big ten games at a community college essentially
