Celebrity Endorsements

Fair or not, here is the reality when it comes to these celebrity endorsements IMO: it turns off the average voter more than it helps. No one thinks it's authentic, fair or not. Many believe the endorsement is based purely on the party affiliation, not the candidate. That these types of endorsements are driven by group-think, signifying so-called virtue and to be asked to the next cocktail party or sit at the proverbial "cool kids" table. I'm not sure how much it helps, and for every voter it actually impacts there are probably several it makes want to do the opposite.
I actually thought Taylor Swift might have an effect, because of her off the charts popularity. But I guess when someone has trouble affording groceries, a star gladly taking $5,000 for a seat at her concerts….

Rather than celebrities, we should look back and look at individuals that may have had a significant impact on the election. Governor Abbott made the brilliant decision to ship illegals to Democratic cities. It really put the problem under a microscope for the entire country. I don’t really go on Twitter much, but my sense is that Elon Musk probably got a pretty good return on his $44 million investment.

Seton Hall, Hofstra To Air On MSG Networks On Nov. 13

To save people the question ... it looks like Comcast Infinity cable does not have MSG networks but Peacock does which is included in my package. Also Fubo , Hulu + Sling TV, YoutubeTV, Apple TV , Paramount+ , ESPN + also have MSG network.
I just need to know what channel it's on ..

This must be a local thing. I live out of area. No MSG on my YouTubeTV feed.
My guess is it is a regional thing. I doubt the national carriers listed in the original post carry MSG in, say, Detroit. They would carry the Detroit RSNs in that example.

Election Prediction

I agree. I think Harris ultimately takes it. As awful as she is as a candidate, I think the majority of people just want to move on from Trump even if they don't believe Harris stands for anything or is equipped to do the job. Every election since 2016 keeps getting stranger. Perhaps once we get past Trump things will normalize, but I don't see that happening unfortunately.
Well, I was dead wrong.

The most fascinating aspect of this is going to be how the Democrats react. Not in accepting the election results, but in how they act going forward.

They threw everything at this guy. Called him every name. And yet somehow he pulls off the most miraculous comeback in political history, after pulling off the most stunning win in political history 8 years ago.

And not in a nail biter. An absolute, freaking landslide. Electorally. And the popular vote.

If you are a professional Democrat or operative, how do you square away what happened? Armed with a billion dollars and every mainstream media outlet not named Fox acting as surrogates for your candidate against what seemed like the most vulnerable opposition candidate in history.

If it were me, I would take a long, hard look at what happened here. And I certainly wouldn't double-down on all the stuff that last night showed doesn't work in the most spectacular fashion in history.

Making My Statement

Yeah but making something out of nothing isn't good. It's more divisive. The Puerto Rican joke was a nothing (not to mention not even said by Trump) that the easily offended crowd jumped on. I'm part Polish and if I cried every time I heard a Polish joke or insult on that level I'd have been crying my whole childhood instead of hanging out, playing sports and making friends.(who I could make fun of back). To top it off if you go by CNN reviewing some highly Puerto Rican counties Trump won them. Some of them even flipped from Biden. So who was insulted, rich white people who don't know how to laugh at themselves? Or rich white people who don't joke and have never told a good or bad joke?
I live in one of those PA counties that has a large Hispanic population that voted for Trump this time around versus Biden. (Northampton).

One thing to recognize is that demographic is typically more religious and hammering the abortion theme nonstop may have had a negative effect.

Making My Statement

No doubt the media companies will be lining their pockets from him. Trump loves to talk, probably too much for is own good, and that will certainly give them plenty to talk about.

Hopefully groups of people don't look to talk about it. However the reason to talk about it is because the networks make money on division. They'll twist anything they can because whether they love him or not Trump is the best thing to happen to their ratings.

Hopefully Trump doesn't give anyone a reason to talk about any of that. His own words brought on those criticisms so it's on him to prove that they're unfounded.

Hopefully Dems will knock off the Nazi and end of Democracy talk. When you have a dem governor named Kathy ( I am really stupid )
Hochul saying it is anti American to vote for Trump and I have a 34% approval rating in New York so you know I know what I am talking about.
