Today's game has nothing to do with what CU team shows up on Wednesday. They are a great team and balanced team that is also not deep (like SHU). With that said, they have only lost one BE game at home, so it's going to be an uphill battle.

Sheierman and ashford shot poorly against us. But for a five minute stretch to cut our lead they all hit 3s. Some open. Some guarded.
We shot slightly worse than them from 2 and 3. We know we can play with them. So we have to do it again.

I don't think Sha or the players will give a damn whether Creighton is pissed because they lost to St. John. Beating Creighton at their place to prove to the nay sayers that SHU belongs will be their driving motivation. I love the chip on the shoulder mentality that Sha brings.

taking St John’s yesterday after CU was coming off a win vs the number 1 ranked team + traveling was a bet that makes a lot of sense.
Factor in travel back from NYC. Today’s a recover day for The Jays. Light practice tomorrow and game Wednesday. Marquette another top 10 team, travels to Omaha for a day time game Saturday. Seton hall is a major trap game for Creighton. I like the odds for an upset

I do like the fact that they might be looking ahead to Marquette, but I think McDermott will have them ready. FWIW, they flew back yesterday from Teterboro right after the game. Landed around 6 local time. I think they'll do some light work today unless they are required to rest. Full practice tomorrow.
People don’t realize how chartering eases travel. Expensive, but convenient.
A friend got to travel with PC to Creighton for a Saturday afternoon game last year. They landed back in Providence and he was home in Connecticut near Hartford by 10 pm.
Yes, good example and that's the longest trip in the conference. Lots of charters at the high major level. Not exactly like taking buses from Princeton to Dartmouth.
Nicest part about chartering is that you can go to non-commercial airports, drive right to the charter terminal, avoid all the security nonsense. Company I used to work for years ago had two corporate jets that I had a chance to fly a few times (escorting customers). The one takeaway was that the pilots had their golf clubs with them all the time
