Jersey Shore Nightclub Closes for 2020 Summer

Can you post a link, that doesn't comport with this:

https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america/georgia

Testing = Way up; confirmed cases = steady; Deaths = steady; Hospital Usage = down.

That site is using projections, and new hospitalizations is a better number to track a trend because you'd otherwise be including discharges which are important, but it doesn't help show if there is a trend of new cases.

For actual I have been using this site.

We're still waiting for your link.
Mask up! I've been in my house for almost 2 and a half months now. Don't plan on going outside until the vaccine is distributed. Tony Fauci said today the vaccine might be distributed by the end of the year. Not sure if I'll be on line to get that vaccine right away. I have also started wearing a mask in my house when I'm in the same room as my family. Hopefully I'm at the rock this year. I will definitely be in my hazmat suit for that.

They make them in Pirate blue? Can you get one with the number 13 on the back?

I wish! I will obviously be in the yellow hazmat suit I have. This is no laughing matter. I am just trying to protect myself and my family from this horrible virus.

Yep. As expected Georgia numbers are going up again. Something that I have been saying will happen. Right again.

We're still waiting for your link.

Hi @SPK145. Please see below link. Hospitalizations for COVID 19 cases have gone up in NJ for 2 straight days now. Please note I was criticized for sayng covid 19 case will go up after memorial day weekend. Looks like that is now the case.

https://www.nj.com/coronavirus/2020...es-hospitalizations-increase-for-2nd-day.html

Um, we were looking for your purported Georgia info, NOT NJ info.

"As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there were 2,797 patients with confirmed or suspected coronavirus cases at New Jersey’s 71 hospitals. That’s a 36-patient increase from Tuesday — the second straight day there has been a slight uptick. But the overall number is down 65% since peaking at 8,084 on April 14."

Wow, 36 patients. WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!

NJ wasn't supposed to go up. But due to the actions of irresponsible citizens they are. Hoping another outbreak isn't imminent. Soon this will happen in Georgia too.

Where are your Georgia numbers you referenced the other day?

Don't you still think its a bad thing numbers are going back up? And why is that? Because people are going out again and spreading. Unfortunately this will continue.

36 hospitalizations would be a slow night in Seaside Heights during the summer....

Dropping the latest from Georgia. Like I said 2 Sundays ago we needed to see where the numbers were by this coming Sunday. Looks like a spike is starting.

"...allowing most Georgians to move about is the key reason behind a 26% rise in cases between the week of May 11 and May 18"

What happened to the narrative of Georgia reopening and cases decreasing???

There is massive coding manipulation going on across the country. Doctors and hospitals are incentivized to code cases as coronavirus as they receive more money. It's really a disgrace, all to keep the illusion going.
It's anecdotal, but speaking with a cardiac physical therapist the other day, he told me that they were encouraged to code with COVID even if the patient presumably died from other comorbidities. He said that very often elderly patients are not good surgical candidates, and they don't survive long after the procedure (PT is a major factor in cardiac post surgical survival). Reimbursement added a 20% kicker if patient had COVID or suspected as having it.

Does it matter if it's 90 or 100K? No obviously, but it is happening.

seems like it’s two counties

COVID-19 deaths are decreasing across the country, but one small rural area of Georgia is now leading the nation in most new COVID-19 deaths over the past two weeks.

The New York Times now lists Milledgeville metropolitan area as one of the hardest-hit areas in the country by the virus. Hancock and Baldwin counties make up this area, which is about an hour west of Augusta.

Six nursing homes are located in this area. More than 40 patients have already died and nearly 300 patients and workers are positive. We also found the area has the least amount of intensive-care unit beds available in the entire state of Georgia.

1993 can you send me a link to where I can buy a hazmat suit?

What complete and utter bull:

Week of May 11 = 107,628 tested, 4260 positives, 3.96% positive rate

Week of May 18 = 130,779 tested, 5137 positives, 3.93% positive rate

Well the numbers are in again. Just trying to educate guys on what reopening is doing. But if you guys don't want to follow the science its fine!

Like I have been saying places will close again due to the outbreak. This county was one of the first to shutdown and reopen. Now its shutting down again. People were saying I was wrong that places will close again. But it looks like I'm spot on again. This will eventually happen to other places that have reopened. Not good for people that want everything open again.

Current vs new hospitalizations doesn’t tell the story of a trend for the impact of the virus currently.

Are new hospitalizations going up? (They are in several areas which have reopened)

That is expected though. We know hey will go up as we reopen. We know deaths will go up as we reopen.
We will accept a certain level of both, just need to watch carefully so it doesn't look like it will get to an unmanageable number.

Great story from CBS This Morning yesterday......Perhaps getting a prophylactic transfusion might be easier than locking yourself in the basement in a hazmat suit.

New study says over 2 million adults had the virus in New York by late March. Makes no mention of any children who may have had it, which would increase the numbers even more. It means the death rate is well under 1%.

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.05.25.20113050v1

The response to this virus is one of the greatest scams in the history of our country.
