seems to be a covid surge this last week (as i was suspecting) hospitalizations and deaths are up in 17 states. i feel like this month is when everyones vaccines are likely dying out. really hoping it turns into herd immunity and weakened viruses

Yes I have been suspecting/predicting the winter surge as well. However fellow posters on here do not want to listen. I fear a very big surge this because of vaccines wanting/natural immunity waning as well.

Numbers will go up and down, but hospitals are managing COVID cases like any other virus or flu right now. Treating them as part of general census; not separate as they were. And hospital volume is back to pre-COVID levels. This is being handled like any other endemic.

So if we should all be concerned about this winter surge, I presume you think our unvaccinated basketball players shouldn't be competing indoors against folks with no masks in indoor arenas with crowds and personnel everywhere? And then I presume you will be critical of Seton Hall, our AD, and Kevin Willard for allowing that to occur?
