  • Winners of eight of its last 11 games, the Seton Hall men’s basketball team hits the road this weekend as the Pirates get set to take on Villanova at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday at 8 p.m. on FS1.
  • After starting 0-3 in BIG EAST play, the Pirates sit in a tie for fifth place in the conference standings at 8-6 with six games to play.
  • Seton Hall has played one of the most difficult schedules in the country as KenPom ranks the Pirates’ slate as the 15th toughest in Division I and its NET SOS ranks 22nd.
  • The Pirates have put themselves in good position because of how they’ve played on the road as The Hall is one of three BIG EAST schools with five road wins, joining Marquette and Xavier.

  • Graduate student KC Ndefo (Elmont, N.Y.) is the anchor of Seton Hall’s defense and he’s the NCAA’s active leader in career blocks with 361.
  • Ndefo leads the BIG EAST and ranks 22nd nationally with 51 total blocks this season.
  • Junior Kadary Richmond (Brooklyn, N.Y.) leads the Pirates in rebounding (6.1 rpg) and assists (4.6) in BIG EAST play and ranks second in scoring (12.6 ppg).
  • Richmond has scored in double figures in each of the last seven games.
  • Senior Al-Amir Dawes (Newark, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday and is averaging 17.3 ppg on 50 percent shooting from deep (11-of-22) over his last three games.
  • The Pirates are 13-4 when Dawes scores in double figures.
