why were these guys 5? they lost a ton in the OOC and only have one gonzaga win in their terrible fugazi conference.

struggling to see how they even get off the bubble let alone a 5 seed. SHU would murder yet another weak ass team.

no joke they have two remotely decent wins: Gonzaga and Colorado st. not even that great. then legit 95% of their wins vs straight up terrible teams. losses to montana st, weber st, utah, etc.

5 seed? committee is criminal. metrics are criminal. Halls resume was better than 70% of the field.

St. Mary's was probably over seeded by the committee but also Grand Canyon was under seeded too. That team has some big time athletes and feel like Alabama might be in trouble.

Also, credit to the fans they traveled to the game in big numbers. Felt like a home game for Grand Canyon

We arent exactly efficient offenaive machines and shaheen is still trying to get them to oractice hard and play "seton hall defense" whatever the hell that is. However, we should have been in this tournament and given a shot like the other8-9 seeds or worse

The committee made some bad selections obviously, but one of the big problems with both selections and seeding is the parity that has become college basketball. That is pretty much the reason 11/12/13 win regularly (and often multiple games) these days in the tournament.

st joes is harder to play than st marys. st marys has the luxury of beating up an entire conference of depauls. pacific, portland, san diego, lmu, pepperdine my freaking god.
