Probably because it will lead to higher premiums and make health insurance less affordable than it already is for everyone, not just diabetics. Health insurance companies aren't stupid. They will simply shift the cost of this drug to other areas.

Will be interesting to see if it can pass in the Senate.

insulin is like 200x cheaper in other countries there has to be a solution.

As a 48-year type-1 diabetic, who has medical insurance, I applaud the move! The cost of insulin is ridiculous!
