Garwey on the court and more

He may have shot better as a junior because he did not attempt many. His last season at SHU he took more 3 pointers and missed more. He took more shots his first year and last year and his averages were much lower the more he shot. You can look it up if you don't believe me. My point was not so much about his 3 point shooting as it was about a player (like Kadary) can still make an impact in other ways. If we have some kids who can't shoot the 3 very well but can defend and still put the ball in the basket in other ways that is a good thing!

Garwey on the court and more

He isnt anyone but Garwey.
KR whom many think is a impact player shot 27% last year from 3 point range. So maybe he can compensate like KR and contribute in other ways to make an impact?
KR shot over 40% as a Jr from 3. John Morton was a bad 3 pt shooter till his Sr year. Things can change. Sandro shot under 30% from 3 as a frosh. For me those stats are meaningless.

id respond that curriculum is run by the states (ya know, convince kids slaves had it ok because they learned skills). but that would mean the point is right. id blame the parents first.
Sounds like the US Dept of Education is not needed. Maybe once people realize getting rid of that would free up money for Ukraine, Lebanon and Iran, they'd go for it. SMH

The curriculum is supposed to be run by the states but since 1979,ever more and more is run by the feds. Hence the decline in the American educational system.

Still waiting for anyone to point me to where in the Constitution the feds have any power over education. Crickets...............
Reagan wanted to get rid of the Federal Dept of Education. The Dems maintained conrol of the House throughout his two terms.

Yet another conference realignment proposal - This one seems different.

Ah, they're getting so close to where it's ultimately headed that they can almost see it. So of course football is going to break away independent of the current leagues, but it isn't going to include any 70 teams. Looking at it strictly from a media value point of view, which of course is the only way they're looking at it, there is so much noncontributing dead weight in this plan. You will see something like this, but with no more than 28 or 32 programs, made up entirely of national football brands who can carry weight across any geography or media markets. Physical geography means little anymore. Think of the NFL, but with college teams. It doesn't matter where those teams are located. There is no way Alabama and Ohio State and Texas are splitting they revenue they are bringing in with the current weak sisters of their respective conferences. If the entire purpose is to maximize annual revenue -- and it clearly is -- why would they?

No. 11 Seton Hall will return to action Saturday, October 12, when they return to Owen. T. Carroll Field to face Butler in a BIG EAST matchup. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Again I will mention this . Our problem going into the rest of our Big East schedule will be scoring. Although our D is very good scoring one goal a game is not going to cut it in my opinion .
