##### 2024 BIG EAST Prediction Contest: January 23-24 #####

Four of the five games this weekend were decided by one point or in OT (3OT, in fact). Razor thin margins out there! Despite that, three of our players managed to nail every game, going 5-0. One of those was our leader, @GrMtWoods, whose lead now returns to three games over second place @hoops41. Six players are tied for third place at 32-9.

Tuesday, January 23

Butler (11-7, 3-5) @ Georgetown (8-10, 1-6) - 6:30 PM - FS1 - CapOne/DC
Xavier (10-8, 4-3) @ #17 Creighton (14-5, 5-3) - 8:30 PM - FS1 - CHI/Omaha

Wednesday, January 24

Mid Season Diversion

I am exhausted after Saturday’s epic battle. Before worrying about Wednesday’s important struggle, I need to unwind. How about a discussion about our favorite all time favorite sport’s figures? Not a GOAT debate, just an expression of your favorites. Shout out your 5 favorites plus one honorable mention. Here are mine.
1) Tom Seaver
2) Hank Aaron
3) Roger Federer
4) Kareem Abdul Jabbar
5) Steph Curry
Honarable Mention: Roberto Clemente

Who ya got

Not a clue. So many variables.

Will Richmond be close to healthy?

How much of a drain both physically and mentally will the triple OT be?

Providence coming off a week's rest and being desperate.

I'll go with the home team but not with a lot of confidence with so many unknowns.
