We MUST put this game behind us and beat Providence on Wednesday. Otherwise, I really fear what the psychological and physical fallout from this loss will add up to. Bad losses have a way of gaining momentum. It needs to be stopped immediately. Gotta rebound from this and get back on track.

Creighton made 13 three pointers and had 0 moving screen called on their three point attempts.

Regardless of what happens, this team is incredible fighters. Missed fouls, the missed travel, and things happened in both directions, but this team just keeps hustling and fighting. Proud to watch this team and support this team. Thank you coaches. Thank you players.

I’ve seen writers say that our efficiency/turnover metrics are what’s holding our NET ranking from being better… that we don’t beat up on bad teams enough.

Shouldn’t our win over Uconn, the #1 ranked team…. which was by 15+, count for more? Teams will lose to them and barely fall in ranks, but our huge win over them counts for nothing?

Right now, The Hall are playing better than Creighton. They usually shoot lights out against SHU. Scheierman is the player the team needs to shut down. Kalkbrenner is a tough matchup, but our two headed center may be able to limit him to some degree. The crowd at The Rock should be juiced with a probable National Ranking on the line. Hopefully, Richmond is near full strength? Hard to pick against SHU for this one, but Creighton is dangerous.
