So no one here has voted for or is going to vote for the treasonous coup-attempting felon rapist guy, right?

If this is a serious question, I would probably not choose the guy who withdrew the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal.
What Iran deal? Was not approved by the Senate as all treaties are to be so there really was never a deal.

So your answer is no one has character. Gimme a break. You can't answer aside from MSM talking points, which is something you of all people I find hilarious. I don't think anyone can. If you wanna play that game, you're supporting someone who wants to take free will out of people's hands. Don't argue the abortion issue, as that's a Christian value and You're supporting a "Christian" who has committed adultery times, among other things. You're supporting someone who can only say something nice to someone who says it to him 1st.
I'm not a christian so not sure how me being against killing unborn babies is a christian position. Sorry for the whataboutism but you, me, and Harris are evidently all not christian.
At the rate you're talking, you probably think she's a "DEI hire."
LOL, what was her main qualification to be VP? Jamaican and Asian perhaps? It's not like she's very well educated or intelligent, the proof is quite easy to see. Perhaps being the most liberal senator had something to do with it.
Back to my original point, no one can defend his character without doing whataboutism. You can't say he's not worse than the others without lying to yourself. So again, I'll wait
You don't need to wait, be honest about your chosen candidate as well.

They both suck. I usually vote 3rd party (as everyone here knows) but didn't have anyone I could really support so I went with the lesser of two evils that I think would be better for the country. I don't have any signs or tshirts for the guy but will vote for him in a state where it doesn't matter anyways rather than lie and convince myself that the other candidate is better or even any good.

Yeah and he added tons of sanctions on them after. So it's not like he withdrew from the deal and walked away. He went about it differently than Obama, who allowed them to continue research and development on nuclear weapons. If you're cutting them off why the hell did we allow them to continue R&D? There was tons of pressure still being put on Iran just not through the Obama deal. That's the part that upsets you most.
Completely facile argument - if Donald Trump did the Iran nuclear deal and Biden subsequently withdrew from it, I would have considered it an error of the Biden administration.

Also, we've already had sanctions on Iran for decades and we know that they don't work as intended. You can very easily make the argument that sanctions, which the United States have used increasingly in recent decades across the world (not just in Iran), make the world (and America) less safe.

It's so weird how President Trump was able to withdraw the U.S. from something that didn't exist.

Funny how the people you're saying have casual misogyny are the ones speaking out for naturally born women to not have to compete with one time males in sports. How misogynistic is that?
I understand the point you're making, but the answer is yes, I do think the people speaking out for "naturally born women" are being misogynistic.

I think people are going to look back at these trans panic ads in 30-40 years and conclude that this country still had a long way to go in terms of tolerance and acceptance.

i think they’re going to look back in 20-30 years and say how did we allow our own people to do such physical and emotional harm to themselves, especially the kids. Imagine how many 7 year olds would regret their Paw Patrol or Peppa Pig tattoo if they were allowed to get one at 7.

Completely disagree. There would be proof of this type of behavior from you by thanking Trump for shutting down little Rocket man.

Can’t read the article because login info is needed but I’m guessing an article written in 2024 has much to do about how Biden handled the sanctions.

I guess we'll see in 30 years.

Just as I expected. It's hopeless and remains desperately pathetic here. Not going to read through all the (self?) delusional nonsense. But unless you're writing, "I want the candidate who tried and wants to overthrow our elections" then it's just the same intellectual dishonesty that's always been, just dozens more posts and hundreds more empty words of it to add to the pile of tens and hundreds of thousands across the years. Sad

forefathers who you all love would spit on your grave for that.
You might want to read the Declaration of Independence. Our forefathers had common sense. They understood whatever they created at some point might lead to destructive government. I suggest you read it.

I hope you have a team of mental health assets and a hermetically sealed safe space if Trump somehow manages to win.

I really do worry about how some people are going to cope.

Go pet a cat and calm down already.

There's a mental health crisis in this country among leftists. Just on this board alone, we have one who has intentionally stopped being friends with people because of their political leanings. We have another who says it's "hopeless and desperately pathetic" that people might actually think one candidate might be better than the other.

theres mental illness on both sides. two people on the right tried to assassin THEIR candidate.

i mean, theres people right here on this board that are chomping at the bit to support a candidate that tried to undermine liberty. there's people here that are worried about their neighbors gun hobby over kids getting mowed down. theres people here that plaster another man's name over their property like a cult. there's people here that would rather live in a constant state of fear and hate than come to terms with a woman president.

its not about comparing candidates, it's about willingly overlooking things that would completely disqualify one. if trump was the female in this situation i would bet my house you all would be singing a different tune.

Exhibit A - Mental health rant.

One of them is going to win; life will go on after tomorrow. Vote your choice; vote your conscience; what purpose does a rant serve?

Actually it is about comparing candidates. Many feel things Trump has said and done are disqualifying, but he'd still be a better President than Kamala because of one simple question, are you better off now than 4 years ago?

A rant just proves the mental health issue. All people who don't agree with me are bad is a sound logical argument of a well balanced open minded person.

I can appreciate the transparency of people expressing opinions on the message board, but the whole idea of ending friendships because of who you vote for? That is just so bizarre.

Just an observation for what it’s worth.

Both Harris and Trump have spent time in Allentown this week as a final stops. Last Tuesday Trump was at the PPL center which seats about 9,000 and it was advertised as the location days in advance.

Harris said she would be in town today but did not disclose the location until this morning. Muhlenberg College.

The Trump rally turned into an all day event downtown that included some protesters. The Harris event is invitation only and limited I believe to their gym.

The US population has an abundance of tolerance and acceptance. What it lacks from time to time is understanding and common sense. You are totally garbling the meaning of misogynistic by confusing those who think they are women with women. Your unquestioning acceptance of the trans narrative is in and of itself misogynistic and gives a false hope to those who consider themselves trans.

I see the difference daily. Most Trump voters I know are firm in their beliefs but do not bash others who are voting for Harris. By contrast, Harris voters and leftists throw a tantrum or refuse to speak to Trump voters.

I expect the young, angry, mostly white leftists to riot in the streets, like in the summer of 2020. And then blame "right wing agitators."

Catholics went for Trump in 2016. 52-45.
Swung back to Biden in 2020. Assume they’ll stick with Harris this year.
Mea culpa. Thank you. Christians and Catholics went for Obama over McCain, Bush over Kerry (a Catholic), and Catholics for Gore over Bush,

Man, took a break from this board for a couple days and glad I did. Whatever the results may be tonight (or at some point this week) the sun will continue to rise.

Hope we can all wish the best for whoever our new president will be.

@Robot_Man laugh it up, bud. CNN talking head wrote the same thing ahead of the Harris loss. A rejection of what voters (by a significant margin) saw as a candidate who was too far left, opting instead for someone distasteful. Not good news for the Dems going forward - when turnout is high, they lose.

I don't think it's about turnout. I think America is still politically in the middle. Biden/Harris and now Harris/Walz on the democratic ticket are too far left and America rejected it. Democrats were smart to walk away from defund the police, but they keep finding new woke ideas that America rejects.

Two issues made the day:
1-Completely ignoring the border for four years, and the subsequent wave of illegals, drugs and human trafficking, on top of Biden rescinding Trumps border policies on day one.
2-Doing victory laps touting the "greatest economic recovery in history" while everyday people are struggling paying for basics like food along with increased housing , insurance and utility costs. Showed no empathy.

Mainstream America cares about feeding their family and safety. Everything else is secondary.

100%. You can't give illegal immigrants cell phones and health insurance while giving a $750 loan to hurricane victims.

And of course it's always about the economy, stupid. You can't keep saying look at your 401K which you can't touch until you're almost 60 without penalty when you're grocery bill is double every week.

Fair. I haven't seen the total numbers yet, but it seems like a motivated electorate this time around.

Once Harris stops crying she will make a concession speech today not sure who she will blame LOL

Among other things, race? I will say that on the campaign trail, she was classy and I'm hopeful that the President-elect will govern in that way, however unlikely that is to happen. Harris must have wanted to kill Biden for the "garbage" comment; it may end up being her "basket of deplorables," even though she didn't say it.

What a win for Trump. Only the 2nd Republican in the last 36 years to win the popular vote and did it with an incredibly broad coalition. He has utterly reshaped American politics for good.

The fact Harris was endorsed by an entire list of pedophiles is a good starting point to dive deeper into why am I aligned to this?

The garbage comment had 0 impact. Everyone knew bidens dementia has had him so far gone for years.

This turned out to be a striking example of the two candidate and campaigns.

Trump event was open so anyone could attend (supporters or protesters) and turns it into a celebration/party event.

Harris event was invitation only in a controlled environment. Muhlenberg College is one of those "social-elite" schools.

Who was the inclusive candidate?

“Jesus is lord” and “you’re at the wrong rally” are two quotes that answer that one
