It’s time for resignations at SHU

Blaming Mike Walsh is misguided, he is a volunteer who took this on as a passion project. You want to blame someone? How about Felt and Lyons at the top? They are scared of their own shadow and won't ruffle a single feather. Cruise control for them, what a great gig make mid 6 figures and have 0 ramifications for poor results.
Didnt Felt basically blow off Mike Walsh until he realized Hall Hands on Deck and its volunteers were better at doing NIL than he was?

RWJBH

Look around at the Rock or whatever spot where you see SHU athletics and all the ad sponsors and ask the similar question. I’d like to know when we’d be able to start putting sponsorship patches on players uniforms and that ad $ can go into a fund for revenue sharing with the players. This is the stuff that needs to be figured out and cultivated if SHU is going to have any chance of surviving in the new world of College Athletics.

Jerry on the game

We don’t have a Repole but the Revenue Share situation should help. Then it’s a question how Felt/Lyons are going to manage that in terms of:

* What share of revenue goes to Men’s Basketball (it should be substantial piece of what we can share)
* How can we raise new revenue sources
* What does this mean in terms of ongoing fundraising for PB and/or NIL

As a fan who has and does invest time and $ in the program, I’d love to know what our plan is. Give me something to be optimistic about. Bryan, Pat, whoever; WTF is it that you are doing?????
It should be substantial because we don’t offer sports

This could help us get back to a baseline but I don’t know if a plan has been publicly discussed

Kadary earning his money

Proven coaches get to do stupid things. Shaheen Holloway has not earned that right.
Who is he supposed to prove it to? You? Or someone who understands what they're looking at and recognizes the complexities of the situation he's operating in?

He's far from perfect and bears his share of the blame for this season, but this season -- which is primarily shaped by forces he does not control -- does not erase everything else on his record so far.

Merge, the difference to me is that Zuckerberg basically created a social media platform and doesn’t have the same background as Musk in streamlining organizations. Musk has also proven to build companies that have materially helped the country (environmental, security, outsourcing of government programs).

Neither have experience in public policy though, and I wouldn't suggest Zuckerberg who heads one of the most valuable companies in the world as being less qualified for streamlining. He would have been fairly equal to Musk with a record of increasing the size of the company through rounds of large layoffs and acquiring other companies making them bigger and better (Instagram / Oculus)

RWJBH

It has recently come to my attention that our corporate sponsorship with RWJBH has evolved so that they actually now ARE the "official healthcare provider of Seton Hall Athletics." This is interesting, because they really took over RU athletics, making most, if not all, of the medical staff there (doctors, trainers, PT's, etc) employees of RWJBH. They also built rutgers a pretty damn nice training facility. I'm wondering if this new partnership is going to bear fruit as far as NIL money goes. And I am hopeful that similar discussions are being had with Prudential and JAG Physical Therapy. Just a thought, but there has to be more to this than a simple care agreement. Let's hope!

Sounds like you just described a bad coach. That’s a lot to figure out in one offseason. Let’s hope he’s willing and able.
I still believe he can do it if he is open to a lot of changes. It's his career and I know he has a ton of pride in his success. It's a new, crazy world in college hoops and he has to be more willing to change and also lead our program in this silly portal/NIL time. Hopefully he takes time to reflect, reach out to his mentors and is honest with himself.
