Hesitancy to get COVID-19 vaccine persists
enewspaper.mcall.com
Pat yourself on the backHello. I warned this board a couple months ago of the looming variant threat. CNN is now saying president Biden's celebration on eradicating covid 19 is too soon. It has been reported the Delta variant is now like wildfire in California. Governor Newton is expected to announce new restrictions/ shut downs in the next couple weeks
Pat yourself on the back
More bad news about the variants. Covid treatments are not effective against them. Specifically the Kent and South African variant. The 'great hope' of the light at the end of the tunnel soon is fading
You must be a blast at parties
@Potbelly407 I don't understand your post
I heard Fauci saying that people who aren’t getting vax should stop the political statement....what about it is political? would love to hear that explanationThe latest on the Lambda Variant in Peru. 10% of people infected with this variant have died. Very scary! Also resistant against the vaccines.
Fears arise that lambda COVID-19 variant from Peru may be resistant to vaccines
The Lambda mutation, or C.37, appears to have emerged in Peru last August — and is now being blamed for the country having the highest pandemic death rate in the world.nypost.com

Smart people in this “industry” have said its generally a socioeconomic issue. Regardless why is such an established medical professional throwing his hat in the ring here on this issue with definitive statement. Oh yea, cuz like you said....it’s political lmao.It IS political though because the vast majority of those not getting it identify as Republican. Clearly the messaging they've been receiving from Republican politicians, social media and "news" (I use that term lightly) is causing their hesitancy.
The latest example being the illiterate Majorie Taylor Greene yet again comparing the vaccine to the holocaust.

Most people come to that conclusion maybe like I did after consulting the best docs in the world, CNN and/or the wise men here.....wonder how we all come to the conclusionI don't think Fauci telling people to get over it and get the shot is political. It's in the best interests of society as a whole.

If you think the government should be able to force you into a vax good for you. You don’t believe in coming to your own conclusion. Guess you disagree with that weirdo Greene’s comments that government can’t just show up at your dooor and force a vax.
you must also be in line with 93 and at odds with merge ....pandemic is full force !

Eventually if half the world decides vaccines aren't safe we will get a variant that proves to make the vaccines useless, and well be back to square one. What a shame.

You’re better than that. Falling into a narrative that really is silly. Philadelphia county has the worst vaccination rate in the state. Why is that? People are individuals and make their own decisions.Haha the government isnt showing up to doors and forcing vaccines into peoples arms. I assume they'll be going door to door to pass out flyers and such. Exaggerate much?
41% of Republicans dont plan on getting the shot, 4% of Democrats dont plan on getting it. That's a clear political divide.
As more Americans get vaccinated, 41% of Republicans still refuse COVID-19 shots
So far, 59 percent of U.S. adults said they have gotten vaccinated, and another 14 percent say they plan to, according to the latest PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll.www.google.com

I always have to laugh when people think one political party is more enlightened than the other. Fall right into the trap of being a sheep to one or the other.Don't you know, lots of Republicans in Philadelphia!!! LOL.

All those Dems listened to Trump. See, we’re not that divided lolHaha the government isnt showing up to doors and forcing vaccines into peoples arms. I assume they'll be going door to door to pass out flyers and such. Exaggerate much?

Watch a documentary called “social dilemma”...Supports exactly what you were saying.Same here. Thinking for yourself is an increasingly rare attribute in a person these days. Most are mindless sheep driven by CNN, FOX, Twitter, TikTok or some Instagram influencer.
IMO, social media and technology has ripped apart the fabric of what made America great. It's almost to the point where I think we might be in the beginning of the end stages of America. Depressing to think about.

Yet here we are 16 months later with no end in sight
when viruses mutate they mutate into WEAKER, more contagious forms, not stronger forms.
My fear is this was all by design and it's playing out exactly as they wanted. It was never about a virus. It was about a fundamental reshaping of society.
You’re better than that. Falling into a narrative that really is silly. Philadelphia county has the worst vaccination rate in the state. Why is that? People are individuals and make their own decisions.
The virus continues to dominate news coverage daily even though it is no longer a threat to most people. No end in sight? What?
So many Democrats in the states with the worst vaccination rates, which all happen to be in the South, all happen to lead the country in obesity, the people who are most at risk. You all are clueless lol.
The only political statements and agendas are being made and are held by those who are trying to coerce others into getting it. Speaking from personal experience, corona is low on my list of concerns. I don't want the vaccine. I just want to be left alone, live my life the way I see fit and wish that others would simply mind their own business. My concerns are the culture of this country spiraling out of control and the long term prospects for our economy.
I don't think all the black and hispanic people who don't want it are Republicans.....
It has been sad to see you devolve from a reasonable, common sense poster to someone who parrots mainstream media talking points in a span of six months or so. I don't know what happened to you.

You seem to have a problem with facts. You're our boards very own Alex Jones.
