@Merge Per the Times. It looks like our government/vaccines are doing a fantastic job stopping the spread of this virus. 135% increase in cases over the last 2 weeks and 27% increase in deaths. And remember we are in the summer. Not looking forward to the winter with a possibility of a vaccine evading variant!

About 1% of Covid deaths in Massachusetts during 2021 were fully vaccinated. The vaccines are working.
Just look at hospitalizations by state and the vaccination rates by state. Strong correlation showing the vaccine is effective. A shame that certain groups of people who are at risk of severe illness were convinced they should not get vaccinated.
All 79 had severe underlying medical issues and would of been hospitalized regardless of Covid or not. 300 people out of 9,000,000 in hospitals in NJ, number hasn’t changed in a month. 99% unvaccinated- this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

Come on Bubbleboy, of course you understand there are risks with everything. Were you really expecting a 100% effective vaccine? Risks are part of life- do you try to avoid all of them? Do you ever drive a car, go skiing, eat unhealthy foods, drink alcohol, live a sedentary lifestyle, go swimming, climb a tree etc? Everyone has their thresholds and you can try to manage the risk, but staying inside the bubble is missing out on a lot in life.

Actually the Governor stayed if your vaccinated get out and do whatever you want.
Now the Governor needs to reaffirm for all concerned parents that there will be no freaking masks required in schools this coming fall, especially for the younger ones.
You didn't watch the presser today. He said he is taking the new guidance very seriously. He also did mentioned it's a real possibility that indoor mask mandates could get me back soon. So if I am a betting man kids will be wearing masks in school in the fall.
