I watched this kid a fair amount and wasn't a big fan. Even if we don't get Duvall, this kid wasn't getting the minutes he'll want here.
Until Duval decides, no grad transfer pg or most likely JUCO pg is committing to SHU. Just the way it is. The staff has a decent chance of landing Duval so we have to play it out. Similar situation waiting for IW's decision last year.
I think Geno would be completely serviceable at PG for us. He'd bring a similar experienced, steady PG as MJ did. Plus he won't start as roughly bc he will have played this season. And he's taller, can shoot FT's & score. I hope we can grab him regardless of Duval, but that might be wishful thinking.
Darrinngton would be a major coup as well but no idea how comfortable he'd be as a backup also.
I think it's a safe bet any of the PG's we're looking at want to be starters unless they're freshmen.
