A few years ago a poster used to update a thread almost daily with games of interest for those, like me, that follow NCAA bubble teams. More often than not, Seton Hall is among them and it’s nice having one location to go for daily updates. I’ll try to add to this as much as time allows but please feel free to post schedules, results, thoughts, etc.
Most of the teams that appear come from ESPN’s “Bubble Watch”

You guys are hilarious. Johnnies will be a 5 point favorite, and that doesnt even factor in Davis not playing, which I find very hard to believe that he will. Throw in that Johnnies are on life support, this can easily be a 20 point blowout… win your Home games (still think Nova beats us yet again) and must win Thurs at BET. At that point, I’d say 50/50

That Villanova blowout really hurt us in the polls. Even after crushing Xavier, we are only in 20 of the 103 polls on bracketmatrix as of this morning. Meanwhile Butler is in 99 of 103.

And dont get me started on St. John's. At the bottom of the league, still in 9 of 103... I really want to beat them on Sunday...

It's not a marketing problem (LOL). It's the fact that the league has two great teams, one good team, and a bunch of mediocre bubble teams. UConn is a huge boon for the Big East's overall strength on paper.

Teams are evaluated on an individual basis, not by conference. If Seton Hall and Butler were 19-6, for example, the Big East would still be the #2 rated conference but SH and BU would be solidly within the field of 68.

That Lunardi Bubble watch I believe is a few days old. Several of those teams have lost. He loves Providence.

Thanks for doing this. Would it be possible to put the Bubble Team in parenthesis that we are concerned about as SHU fans? The Hall has had a lot of help from a Bubble standpoint in the last few days. Thanks again NittanyPirate.

I have a feeling Davis will be playing. If it was that bad he would have had it in a boot and wouldn't be walking around on it like he was.
So he’s going to go from not playing an entire Half, to playing starter’s minutes in 4 days? No way he plays unless he’s close to 100%, especially with their next game isnt until Sat

Terrible takes, all around.

Which proves the NET is given way more sway by pollsters than it should. It is an easy cheat sheet for them to use.

Kenpom doesnt equate to conf at large selections.

Marketing problem...ah fox has the chief rights but does little to promote the league they hace rights to in any cross platform sense.

I will be curious as to audience consumption of uconn marquette...i would hope it is a bigger side number for weekend college hoops events it is the best game of weekend imho.

Some help so far today. Wake Forest, Butler, Texas Tech, Kansas St. and Texas A&M have lost. TCU and Nebraska have won.

Syracuse and Maryland lose.

Virginia was 0-10 from the free throw line before making one of two in the last minute. Their defense is solid, but the offense was so inefficient. Helped Hall by beating Wake Forest.

Need Nevada to go down would help the Pirate cause..

Nevada wins on the road to go to 19-6 against D-I opponents. That's eight road or neutral wins on the year.

How’s that 20 point blowout looking?

If it were a one - half game, you might have been right.

But the Johnnies have done this before. They struggle in the second half all the time.

Virginia getting ripped apart by VA Tech, 36-16 at haftime. Now 51-28 with a 11:20 left.

Currently projected as a 9 seed in a weak ACC.

EDIT: Sitting at 20-6, they may only have to go 1-3 the rest of the way. They still have Duke and UNC to play.

The announcer said it is a "Great" conference, obviously some Power teams. Virginia has scored 47 and 41 points the last two games. A solid defensive team, but really? Lunardi just said they will still remain an 8 seed after losing by 34. Can't wait to see their NET decline. They had 37 points with a couple of minutes to go. That's third place in the ACC.
