Last year Rutgers thought they had a bid but wound up as the 2nd team Out (Zero bid stealers). If they had beat us on their home floor it may have put them in.

This year Seton Hall was the 2nd team out (5 bid stealers). Would they have been in without a bad home loss to Rutgers?

NJ Hardwood Classic may have resulted in 2 lost bids for NJs high majors.

Their loss to us as at least was a Q2. Idk if it’s one win. Maybe. I can’t tell and we’ll never know the reasons between Colorado State and us. Or Virginia and us. Or Oklahoma and us. Or why Dayton and FAU are so high. There’s too many points of evaluation and the Committee is never clear purposely.

But them shooting 12/24 from 3 was an aberration and a killer.

There were 5 upsets in a week that got us to 2 out. Teams went nuts. It sucks considering how far we came after being widely thought of as no good and proving it in the OOC, then pulling off one of our better BE seasons ever at 13-7 and beating the overall top NCAAT seed and #2! Crazy year.
