Face masks will definitely be with us for the rest of our live. This will be the new normal for the next couple years and people will now adapt to wearing face full time.
And yes hazmat suits are the new normal too. People are wearing them in NYC grocery stores.

Ridiculous? Pretty much. The face masks the public wears are nothing more than window dressing, they don't protect much. It's the old fascist government refrain of "We just have do something!!!"
Face masks and hazmat suits are not the new normal unless you are a hypochondriacal freak. How come essential workers like cops are not wearing hazmat suits currently?

Dr Fauci testified today that the risk of reopening could be great. A spike can turn into an outbreak we can't control and this will halt any thought of economic comeback. Do you guys think Dr. Fauci is just another "Fear Mongering" person like @shu09 thinks or is Fauci a guy that actually knows what he's talking about. I would go with the ladder.
Like he told rand paul today he is a scientist, physician and public official but he is not the end all be all.
Fauci has been wrong so often during this and is certainly one of the main reasons we didn't take this as seriously as we should have.

People on here will finally realize this a terrible pandemic that will impact everyone's lives. I do not like being make fun of on here for my logical decisions. I am staying home to save lives and will wear a hazmat suit once it is safe to go outside again. It is a shame that this board does not take the seriousness of this pandemic. I have tried to warn people about the second wave that will occur this fall and cause another devastating lockdown.

Doubt it, our retail stores have been open then entire time within all NYC guidelines and have done very well. I feel bad for businesses that closed down or will have to due to this.

Terrible decision, Mr. Governor! There will be a second outburst of NJ Coronavirus cases in mid to late June because of this decision. Please reverse this decision and close the beaches! We will begin to reverse the progress we have made. This memorial day and for months and months to come I will be sheltering in place. STAY HOME SAVE LIVES! Is interstate travel to the shore allowed with this? I was driving earlier and the mayor of pt beach was on 101.5 seems out of town street parking wont be happening
Yes. The governor said in his press conference said that he hopes both New Jersayan's and out of state visitors will enjoy the shore this summer. Very dangerous!

But how will goers get there? Pt beach you need a car placard but appears out of area cars wont be allowed to park on the streets
Go to a different beach? As far as I know Belmar and spring lake will allow daily badges. But just limited amount of people on the beach.
