good, one less idiot out in public.
Btw, the virus isn’t airborne.
Virus is ABSOLUTELY airborne! That is why healthcare workers need to wear masks!

It's a droplet virus. You must be kidding. I may disagree with you at times but you're not stupid.

So there is a few things going on with your statement that we should clarify.
1. It is absolutely airborne. It has been found lingering in the air for 10-15 minutes.
2. We don't quite know how much you need to be exposed to to get infected.
3. Indoor aerosols would be much different than outdoor aerosols. Much less likely to get it outdoors, but if the outdoor space gets crowded, I am not confident to say that you would not get it through the air. That is not well established science yet.
OMG people. I hate to cite the corrupt WHO, but here goes: https://www.who.int/news-room/comme...plications-for-ipc-precaution-recommendations
Only people providing immediate and direct care should take airborne precautions, just in case. It is NOT airborne as a mode of transmission to the general public.
Just go ahead and call it the coronaviralones.I have been warning people on this board the last couple days regarding a spike in Coronavirus cases when beaches reopen. Now writers are saying this will unfortunately be the case. I have been spot on so far. If you don't want to listen that's fine. I will continue to do the right thing and continue to stay home. As this writers mentioned thousands of Jersayan's can be affected by this decision. Dangerous dangerous times.

oh cool between this & your last shitpost now I know to block you too. The list ever increases.
Florida seems to be doing fine. As has been noted on here many times nj.com is pure garbage.
Come back to me on Florida in two weeks
And if it doesn't look bad, come back in another two weeks. And so on and so on........
Come back to me on Florida in two weeks
Nope. Just clearly not enough time yet. Give us two weeks.
And if it doesn't look bad, come back in another two weeks. And so on and so on........
Not sure why you are hung up on this. It takes time to understand.
The first case was diagnosed in New York on March 1st, though as we all know many of those infected are asymptomatic and if you do develop symptoms, it can take up to 2 weeks. Northwestern University had a study suggesting there were at least 10k cases in New York as of March 1st.
This site suggests 17k on March 1st... we only knew there was 1.

The first Covid death in New York was on March 14th. and on March 26th they hit 100 deaths in one day.
Should New York have been celebrating on March 11th that no one had died?
Thinking 11 days is sufficient to understand what is happening does not make any sense at all.
If things are going well in Florida, we won't see a spike in hospitalizations which should start to show up sometime within the next few weeks.
Florida has done an amazing job handling the situation. Thankfully, they will not let you in their state. I bet you were one saying "Georgia has blood on their hands". They seem to be doing quite well. You must be cheering in your hazmat suit the efforts of Governor Whitmer.

You apparently work in the healthcare industry from what you've posted previously. It's frightening that you don't know basic facts about the virus. It spreads via respiratory droplets. That's why they say wash your hands. Because you may come into contact with droplets on surfaces, such as a door handle. It's not because someone is breathing on the door handle!
Measles is airborne. Smallpox is airborne. Cornonavirus is not.
You are wrong again... no surprise
you do realize that when you talk those “droplets” become airborne. Or cough. Or sneeze. Or breathe.
If that’s too complicated I give up
@PeeBag-SHU Simple. Just send me the post where I said "Georgia will have blood on their hands". I never said that. Admit you lied then.Dr. Doom and Gloom, now wants evidence, you didn't join Merge's communist contingent.
Just walked off the course with an 89. Serenity now.
If I didn’t have to wear that damn hazmat suit probably worth about five or six strokes.

It's clear you don't know the definition of an airborne virus. Scary.

Telemedicine is exploding. My physician is now offering wellness checks by phone app as well. They just started two weeks ago.We have Wegman's supermarkets out our way. Higher end chain out of Rochester NY.
My wife uses an App to scan items as we shop. Check out is a few taps on a screen. It speeds things up and reduces human contact on several ways. once items go in the cart they don't leave until you get to your car.
I think the new norm is going to introduce new and greater use of technology to reduce human contact.
I was a heavy user of NFC payment on the phone prior to Covid. I see that increasing for others who may have been previously reluctant.
I see Easy-Pass extending into other areas beyond just tolls. It had been talked about before but never really caught on. It can be used at parking garages, ball parks, car washes and more.
I think entrepreneurship and the impact of Covid will bring new ways of doing things that we never thought of.
Actually, it was a few days early. March 1 was when Cuomo confirmed it.
He also said:
"Early on Monday, the governor said the woman was a “unique case.” Appearing on CBS This Morning, he said she was a health care worker so “she knew to take precautions and stay in a controlled situation.” He added that she had not ridden public transportation since returning to New York.
Later, on CNN, he said he anticipated that “there will be community spread” but that “there’s no reason for concern.”
Too bad 93 wasn't on his staff.
And you like to make people think they forget the things you have been preaching. Bottom line, we needed and need to social distance, we needed and need masks, because just talking with other people you can absolutely spread the virus. Even if you, Superman, have no symptoms.
of course that’s only for those of us that give a crap about our fellow human beings. And no I was not insinuating that the virus travels on the air...I was responding to your specific arguments about how you don’t care about anyone else, you’ll just do as you please. Please do It alone
Sorry, not necessary for something that isn't very deadly. If we were talking something with over a 10% death rate, then I'd be open to taking protective measures among the general population.
I never said I don't care about anyone else, stop making things up. I get that you're frustrated that this hasn't played out to the doomsday predictions you wanted, but no need to make stuff up.
