When Megyn Kelly says that Kamala Harris supports getting rid of airplanes, cars, and cows, it suggests to me that she's not a real journalist. Or a serious person. She's a hack.
They're trying to say what a disaster it's been to have defunded the police, but the fact is that that didn't happen. Funding for police largely increased after the George Floyd "situation," as Megyn Kelly called it. "Defund the Police," as a slogan and a movement, was a complete failure that didn't result in any meaningful policy change. You can't say something that wasn't even tried was a disaster.
They should absolutely run on the "She was too tough on crime as Attorney General" line, I'm sure that will go over great with Republican voters.

Fetterman reversed his ban fracking position to get elected and Harris May have to also.I think she will need to flip on abolish ICE,government medical insurance for all including illegals ,decriminalize illegal border crossings etc.She is female Bernie Sanders but she cannot say she is socialist.If elected she will advance the road to socialism

You do realize this arrest happened coming off a plane? This is a win for the USA and the current administration for drug issues but not a border victory. This isn't stopping people from coming across the border illegally.

By the time we start the Dem convention they will be talking about replacing her. The democrats could have done so much better but they got pigeon hold picking her as VP for black and woman voters in 2020. They could not pick over her after Biden left without being called hypocrites. They already nominated her without anyone voting for her which was also a bad look. Looks like they are stuck with her, god help our country if she is elected. I can think of a half dozen other women who are way more qualified. Moving from nothing wrong with Joe to Kamala the great. Trump is the only adult in the room. LOL
I guess we'll see, but I don't think there will be any talk of replacing her on the ticket. The only name I can picture getting replaced on either ticket is JD Vance, unless Harris makes a bad VP choice and it blows up in her face.
we’re a week into the campaign. Wait til the loudest voices go against her. She’s probably the worst candidate when it comes to threading the needle of keeping progressives quiet and moderates comfortable with her.
The playbook is easy, Kamala is like George Washington or Abe Lincoln oops he’s a Republican but know one will check. When that fails you will be a sexist or racist, and of course Trump is Hitler until he gets hit with a bullet then we should wish him no harm. Joe Biden is the greatest living President until he’s losing in the polls. The state of the union is Hilarious if you have a sense of humor. Comedy comes in all forms if you can view it today like it didn’t happen yesterday. Think about it comedy is what happens when you are not paying attention to what happened yesterday today. Maybe speaking like Kamala will help folks understand. LOL

you cant discount how bad of a person donald trump really is, the fact that he's also had many soup brain moments, and this lingering idea of him trying to be a dictator. young people HATE him. but they wont vote. im not sure they even leave the house.

Think you are correct but don’t under estimate his ability to not control himself. Believe the people running his campaign are in his ear and doing the best they can to moderate his messaging. He’s better off letting Kamala talk, she will self destruct with him in the basement. I honestly believe they will substitute Kamala before the election. Throw a Hail Mary pass, which could work. There are some solid people even Major Pete who are more believable. Let’s hope they give Kamala good secret service, don’t want anyone getting hurt. The rich and powerful will stop at nothing to get what they want. Say what you want about Trump but he has rattled the cage of the political elite. Russia colllusion, impeachments, disinformation, spying, multiple court cases, felony charges, assignation attempts etc… pretty hilarious he’s still standing. Dems will need a new candidate soon. It will be a big surprise in the name of saving the state of the union.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus voted overwhelmingly in favor of endorsing her.
The major donors and leaders of the party were instrumental in getting Biden out in favor of Harris. Who are the loud voices that are going to go against her? Even Biden dead-enders like John Fetterman fell in line.
I don’t know why and don’t mean any disrespect but I find the whole process to be pretty funny.

Not necessarily politicians. It will be the significance of the passage of time. Wait til college campuses reopen and more protests happen. Other far leftists will be barking as she changes positions she ran on in 2020. It’s going to happen. And if she holds those far left positions she will lose independents.

and ultimately biden stepped down himself. thats how the process is set up i guess. yes he got pressured. yes donors dried up which was the biggest thing. so the donors own the political process, but thats an issue on both sides.
So essentially we can run anyone we want in the primaries on both sides, then pay them off to bow out, then let a few determine who runs in the election. Great.

VP’s historically mean little to nothing for electoral map purposes. Absent some type of major scandal, neither will be replaced.
The media wants to focus on Vance now because he was recently named and it takes away from discussing the two giant issues of the attempted assassination and the mechanics of the late switch from Biden to Harris and everything that goes with that.
Yes except we have primaries for a reason. You can gloss over that all you want because it is your team that did it. But at bottom there is something undemocratic about a candidate the citizens didn’t vote for getting a nomination absent extraordinary circumstances.

75% based on a poll. If we did things based on polls he should be gone now with his 35% approval rating. But we don’t do things based on polls.
no but even anecdotally you'd be hard pressed to find a dem voter who is upset by the change. so the people get what they really wanted before the primaries. another option.
75% are ok with it. 1 in 4 liberals are not okay with it. Finding those 1 in 4 living in liberal Essex county won’t be too hard pressed.
