Former Detroit Piston great Scottie Pippin was a walk on manager at Central Arkansas initially- what a amazing story.
Scottie Pippen was 6' 1'' when he graduated high school and then walked on at Central Arkansas. He was a high school point guard with no scholarship offers.
Correct he never played for the Pistons. Bulls then Portland I believe before he finished his career in Chicago for a year.
Would be a very nice pickup for next year, even though you would probably see Long transfer as a result.
That’s another thing .... the narrative that’s taken over a lot of threads lately is “youth movement” ...... but are we really talking more accurately about a “new face movement” ????
It's a youth movement at this time. But if high caliber players are available of course you take them and then you have the best of both worlds.
Readers are getting too literal with some of the information supplied here. Things change and you adapt. It's a youth movement right now. Doesn't mean that is written in stone pending additions to the roster.
