Who are you? Fauci???I canceled this season five year's ago. Good riddance.
Should be fine for winter sports. Once the election is over so will all this virus nonsense. Regardless of the outcome, dems can't keep economy shut for 4 years. Not looking good for any fall college sports.
Oh yeah because the wed after election day a proven vaccine will be wildly distributedShould be fine for winter sports. Once the election is over so will all this virus nonsense. Regardless of the outcome, dems can't keep economy shut for 4 years.

Here we go again .... give it a rest guys. This goes for both sides.
Playing in the spring makes no sense. No way players could recover & play a full season the following fall.

Because this is what happens in a classroom, where people are distanced and masked? If college football is canceled you absolutely can not have school on campus. The schools can't protect 100 kids but can protect the general population that numbers in the tens of thousands at these schools?
Laughable.

I think you're right, but at least they have that option. It isn't an option under any circumstances in football.I'd bet my life savings the students will not be socially distancing outside of class.
All true, which is part of the argument against opening campuses back up. But under some circumstances at many campuses that have approached this in as responsible a way as possible, students who stake responsibility for themselves stand a chance against exposure and/or spreading it themselves. That just isn't an option in football; the best defense have been surrendered by playing. And those students go where after class and on the weekends, etc. and bring what back to campus??
Hard working student athletes in olympic sports are part of this tooAll true, which is part of the argument against opening campuses back up. Looks like Rutgers football will not have a losing record again this year !!
I’d miss the SEC and even the Big 12. MWC, Big 10 and Pac12? Never watched them before so nothing to miss.
Stinks there is no BIG 10 and nobody watches the pack12 anyway.
Give me the SEC, Big 12, and ACC and I will be beyond happy.

When this first started I said this would end up with numbers akin to the flu and was right. If it weren't for dumb as nd dumber (Cuomo and Murphy) sending patients into nursing homes the death rate would be lower than the flu. More than half of the deaths came in nursing homes with an average age of 78. We don't need a vaccine. Flu shot only 30-40% effective in a good year.Oh yeah because the wed after election day a proven vaccine will be wildly distributed
