Potential Sha Replacements

Nope, neither does Philly or DMV either.

FWIW every one of our assistants is from the NY-NJ area too. This needs to change also.

If Sha agrees to funnel some of his salary ( good amount ) towards paying the players he says he needs to compete at SHU, and the athletic department/university does the same, I am fine with our current coach.

Is he as great as some people make him out to be ? Absolutely not. But he does have a track record and proven past success.

Run it back with a reasonable budget and I bet it's a hell of a lot better next season. I just can't see it ever being this bad again.

I'm not a big P4P guy but I'll step it up with that revenue model and buy season tickets again, buy merchandise I like and force myself to throw a few bucks toward NIL.

Many will argue "it's different," and it is, but I keep thinking of Jeff Ruland at Iona in late 90's - early/mid 2000s. Like Shaheen, an alumnus of the school; same conference where Holloway achieved deserved recognition. Three NCAA trips in nine years from a one-bid league.
In 2005-2006 Iona is 23-8 and is a #13 seed in the tournament. Next year with first eight players from previous team leaving or out for season, he goes 2-28. He's gone.
Ironically, he is replaced by our own Kevin Willard and Shaheen.
There were a number of other things going on around the program at that time.

Also, Ruland was sub .500 in four of his final six (of nine total) years at Iona.
